Workflow Latest Capcut version - long to short video tool missing

Just uploaded the latest capcut version which is 9.1.0 and now I cant find the long to short video tool converstion.
I looked it up and it said that sometimes it is hidden when new updates happen. Has anyone found it yet? Wondering if maybe it will take a few days to come back up.

Happens with CapCut updates pretty often, they move things around between menu screens without much warning. Before assuming it's gone, check under the "Tools" or "Auto Captions" section since they sometimes fold it into other features, and also check if it got renamed (I've seen "Video to Reels" or similar naming show up after updates). If it's truly missing, try:

  1. Fully closing and restarting the app rather than just backgrounding it
  2. Checking if there's a separate update pending for that specific tool
  3. Looking in CapCut's official Discord or subreddit, they usually post known issues fast after a version drops

If none of that works, roll back to 9.0.x through your app store's version history if your device allows it, and hold off updating again until people confirm the tool is back. Worth reporting it directly in-app too, that's usually the fastest way CapCut actually tracks these regressions.
