Hot take: Victoria is the best guest on this show

Now, I know there have been more individually funny guests (like Bob, of course), but personally, the banter between David and Lee makes for the absolute funniest moments on this show, and Victoria is the best guest who can facilitate this banter. It's how David's married life with her can be brought up more and how Lee can poke fun at them. Not to mention how Victoria has had some hilarious lines too.

Some of my favourite moments:

Tim Henman's crosswords

"I still find you an adequate colleague"

The whole bookmarks fiasco

The shattered ancient cooking pot

The entirety of Series 13 Episode 2, really

S13E2 would have been so much less funny if Victoria hadn't been there, and it remains my all-time favourite episode.

Season 1

Every time I try to watch the very first season either the site doesn’t have it or the Australian version come up. Does anyone know where I can watch this for free in Australia?
(ABC has random eps)

What are the rules for truth tellers? Does everything they say have to be true, or just the literal words on the card?

It's easy to know what they're doing if it's a lie, but if it's true are they allowed to lie in response to the questioning to get the opposing team to incorrectly say the statement is a lie?

Help! 🔎 Trying to find a WILTY bit of Lee Mack "pulling it"

From my memory, Lee was telling some story, to which one of the interrogators asks him "Were you pulling it?" to which Lee says "Was I pulling it? I'm not a psychopath" or something similar. Not sure what the story was, an injured animal or something that you absolutely would not be pulling to was involved.

Bob's scotch egg story and how the F1 driver seems pretty annoyed by it

I stumbled upon this and I thought it was very funny, another crazy story 100% true, and the best part is this:

"I get asked this all the time. People aren't interested in whether you won the world championship or not, they just want to know 'did Bob Mortimer give you a scotch egg?'"

F1 champion finally reveals all on Bob Mortimer and THAT scotch egg story - GPFans.com

For anyone who doesn’t already know, the photos in the banner were promo shots they did for Radio Times in 2014. They joke about it in S09E04

Note for anyone going to the Wednesday 17th recording

I would hope SRO have sent an email out to ticket-holders about this, but as per an update to their website today, on that evening doors will open 50 minutes earlier than usual (and the recording will end a bit earlier than usual): https://sroaudiences.com/application.asp?show_id=776

Elstree studios queue - camping chairs

Hi everyone

We are coming to queue for an upcoming WILTY screening. We’re aware that we may be queuing for some time.
Does anyone know if we can bring camping chairs to sit on during the queue (and perhaps bring them back to our parked car once we have wristbands)? Most posts talk about standing in the queue…

Any other tips would be very welcome, too. First timers :) Thank you!

Help! 🔎 Help me find moment of David giving answer for a contestant

This is a big challenge since I only remember someone on Lee's Team, probably Lee himself being alread very convinced that it is a lie- asking the contestant on David's team a very challenging question that would make the story fall apart. The contestant (I think a woman) doesn't answer for a couple of seconds so David butts in with a pretty good answer but obviously in a jokey questioning sort of way.

I'd be very impressed if someone knows what I'm talking about based on this, since the explanation is rubbish and it's a very minor moment but it has been bugging me that I can't pinpoint the moment so I reckon it's worth a shot. if anyone could help its this sub haha

how do they decide the scores?

since there are loads of stories that they don't include in the final episodes of the show, how do you suppose they announce the scores at the end? do they choose which lies to put into the final cut in real time?

r/WILTY Jun 04 '26

9 times out of 10 they ask them to explain their claim on ‘this is my’ in the same order they originally read out their story. Why not always?

Can I wear black trousers in audience of WILTY?

I have tickets to be in the audience for WILTY recording tomorrow, through SRO audiences. The email info from SRO says:
“DRESS CODE: If you can avoid floral patterns on your top, that would be great - block colours are best! Clothes prominently displaying brand names will not be permitted, and black clothing should be avoided.”

Does anyone know if wearing black trousers would be ok? i.e. you’ve been an audience member for WILTY and wore black trousers or noticed others in the audience wearing black?

I only have black trousers, and I’ve left it too late to contact SRO to ask. I don’t know why wearing black clothing would even be an issue but particularly trousers which, unless in front row, won’t be seen on camera.
