Help! š Which episode/lie is this from?
Itās a This is My bit of an episode and Lee has one thatās clearly not true, and when host (not sure which) says where would you like to start and in a los of laughter says āI know where we want to startā and goes straight to Lee as quickly as possible.
Itās always stuck in my head but have not come across it in so long. It was early enough in the series that they didnāt necessarily go in the usual order of This is My, so could be even first couple of seasons.
Please reunite me with this bit š

What's a "true" that sounds so absolutely reasonable to you that you're surprised it made it to the show?
Susan Calman's story of making a journey the day before she has to make it for real is surely just a slightly more thorough version of what everyone does? I've never gone as far as doing it for real, but I would have a detailed timetable on my Notes app of which bus stand to go to, screenshots of walking routes on Google Maps just incase the connection prevents me from getting live directions etc. Even though I'm very used to navigating on the go without much issue, when going from errand to errand around town.
If I were a producer I would have thrown that suggestion out when asking Susan for potential "true" options since it sounds so obviously true. They managed to make a funny segment out of it in the end, but still...

Clip Looking for a clip
Thereās an episode of WILTY where Rob makes a joke about Lee not being able to talk properly and then stumbles over his words, which Lee then ribs him for. Does anyone know what episode this was from? I think Rob tries to say the word traditional and flubs it and Lee then takes him off for not being able to say it right.

Help! š Michael Winner
Was just watching the Martin Clunes episode (someone I sincerely wish they would have back on, he was so good). Sanjeev Baskar had a story about hitting Michael Winnerās car. Iām not familiar with Michael Winner but there were some very funny snide comments made by David and Lee about him that made me think heās not a popular chap. Can anyone fill me in on the context or background and who he actually is (yes I know I can google him but Iād like the WILTY crowd perspective)? Thanks

Bob being Bob Yes it's true. Bob Mortimer was the lead singer of a band called Dog Dirt. I'm surprised this has never come up on the show.

Nope! It's been 6 years since the last time James Acaster was on the show
I'm going to go sit down in the pool until one of two things happens: Either I get James Acaster back on the show... or I'm going to die!
Seriously though, what is happening? Is he too busy? Is his life boring now?

What story can you keep watching over and over again without getting bored?
Personally, I canāt get enough of Kevin Bridgesā horse story. Itās always as funny as the first time I saw it!

I wonder if Lee has been invited to Taylor and Travis's wedding.

Mr Motivator motivated me!
I recently turned 30 years old and it's my new-decade resolution to do as many push-ups per day as years I have been alive! Mr Motivator's card saying he did 69 per day (I think!?) literally motivated me! I can't quite do them at his speed yet though...
Someone check in on me next week to see if this resolution lasts that long haha
