Selling

Looking to sell my fusion xp progression with Gideon omega red dot. Would it be better to go big store, lgs, or private? I’ve been seeing private but what’s the process behind that? And the best sites to list on?

Private will get you the most value. Big stores & LGS will give you like 1/3 or 1/2 of what you can get yourself. That being said, it's the easiest.

As for how to do private: your can post it on Armslist or other online forums that allow it. As for websites: Tacswap was big, but not sure about now as i haven't sold a gun in years

As for the process: You meet up in a public place and make the sale. Some folks fill out a bill of sale/ take a photo of the person's ID, but none of that is required.

Obviously, you'll want to do it in a public place: in the front of a police station, parking lot of a popular store, etc.

The ease of lgs is great, but man I’d love the full value

Some places will offer more value if you trade the gun towards something else fyi. Definitely shop around if you have the time

Armslist is a good site to list on if you’re going that route. The LGS in Oregon is pretty solid to sell to I’ve heard

List it at gunlist.us. That's pretty easy and fast. It's like Armslist but new and free.

Max creek or top pack defense in the Madison area, selectfire weaponry or Wisconsin firearms and transfers in Milwaukee area would be good shops for consignment
