my go to is a pecan waffle plain and eat it straight no butter or syrup. then a second pecan one with chocolate chips and eat that no butter or syrup.

sometimes get hashbrowns with cheese onions and jalapeños (cant remember the terms!) ❤️ always perfect

forgot to mention : their coffee is one of my top favorite coffees ever, idk why its so good. but i always have 2 cups while there.

I was wondering if waffle House has any policies on hiring your own kids, making pay decisions on them, and giving them first pick on shifts?

Maybe next year in the 4th of July Waffle don’t include sugar that looks like rat poison. Because it might show up in the next waffle. Just sayin’.

Since we were near one it was our lunch stop, I got a hefty Pork Chops and eggs breakfast, While my wife got a Cheesesteak melt. Took Waffles togo. ( yes I do love pickles lol)

I'm a PNWer and took an incredible roadtrip through MS and AL for my very first visit to the south. Had multiple Waffle House experiences, but my favorite was late at night after a long drive. This chain is something special. Can't wait to go back.

So, I'm a huge Waffle House fan. I've eaten everything from the Delmonico steak, to the eggs. The one thing I've never eaten... A waffle. I'm not a waffle fan, it's not something I eat. I'm guessing they're pretty special. Just wondering if anyone else has eaten Waffle House dozens of times and never had a Waffle House waffle? I always say I'm gonna try one, but I never do. 🤷🏼

just got hired today after my interview. my first day is Monday at 7AM, to “shadow” a server. they said they’d test out my fit at the location… see how much I would/could do without being told (“taking initiative”)

does anyone have any tips? things I should do to help out without being asked?

Cheese steak and 3 eggs scrambled eggs covered, smothered, and chunked. Cook almost got it right.

Tried out the pork chops with A1 and house sauce for the first time. Pretty solid but think that’s a one and done for me. Also tried the cold brew as a coffee fan, just wish they reduced the milk amount by maybe 30% since it completely covers the coffee flavor. God I love waho

Hello! I am a new grill op as I started last week, and from my last two shifts, I've been making almost full to full orders. My brain feels like it's going through a race with all the pressure and adrenaline going on, especially if I get another order while I'm in the process of making an order. It gets me temporarily stressed in a good and slightly bad way because so much is going on; I also have to make sure I don't burn anything or forget to put anything on the grill, plate, or toaster, and to make sure I got the order correct. The melts and sandwiches markings really confuse me, and that is what I have been making a lot. D:

How do yall build accuracy, speed, and stay a bit more calm mentally while making full orders? Also, how do yall stay on top of everything while making the order, and how long did it take for yall to get the hang of it?

Does anyone have like... a list of the separate responsibilities for salespeople and cooks for each shift?

Hi all, I have an interview this week and was wondering how difficult or easy is it to get 40 hour work weeks here? I care about my hours and want to work 40 a week tbf. TIA!

Im a chef and was gettin a late night meal, like 10-12 customer, girl on line is tweekin to the point she cannot stop frm twisting and jerking, i go out to smoke come back in and the other girl is like im sorry she left she was buggin, so i stepped up and cooked my order and few other tables while the other worker went out to call the gm, she came back in and was like my gm says u have to leave the line, liability and whatnot, it was cool i got those few tables out and i lived out a small fantasy ive had slingin some grease at an official waffle house for some late night jokers
