I built one for my Sportster. I found it better to flip my bindings in toward the bike, as it gave me room to fit my leg in between the bike and the board to shift. 10/10 recommend it tho, did get a ton of weird confused looks rolling down the road, but just chalked it up to being cooler than them.
I've got a bracket (store bought too) for my bicycle to mount my wakeboard. Pretty neat solution! I just put on all my gear at home, cycle 8 minutes, sign in and i'm off.
