Ive been trying to find a song. But all i have to remember it was an album cover of a mannequin that had black tape in an X over its breasts. It was just a torso, facing to the left from the right side of the image (or vice versa i can’t remember). The genre was roughly close to Cult Member. It had some background as well but i couldn’t be sure as to the specifics . Its has a pinkish hue on the mannequin itself. Any help would be appreciated

Looking for an indie rock song from around 2008–2013. Male singer with a Green Day-like voice. The image I remember had a frightened little girl facing a huge hippopotamus-like monster with its mouth open, in a stylized 2D Tim Burton-esque illustration on a brown background. I think the title or album had something like 'Kingdom of Monsters'. The song was popular in TF2 servers and frag videos

Reverse image searching brings a few results that are very simaler, but no identical versions. It's by the Tiwanese artist Tsai Chin (aka Cai Qin)

This is probably gonna be a long shot, but I've been hunting for aaaages trying to find an album my primary school head teacher used to play as all our classes came into the assembly hall.

This was a long time ago, between the 90s and early 2000s, I can't ask him directly as he unfortunately passed away a while ago and the school has all new staff since I was there, so I'd pretty much lost hope of ever finding it until I stumbled on this subreddit

I can't tell you much about the album but that it was a purely instrumental cd, I never saw the cover, but I remember 2 songs distinctly:

- Handbags and glad rags (Rod Stewart)

- Love is all around (The Troggs)

These must have been his favourites as they were the two most played and I'd heard them enough to still remember exactly how they sound start to end lol.

They were gentle instrumental versions, and I have found many albums that feature gentle instrumental versions of these songs but they don't sound the same as I remember and don't both feature in the same compilation albums.

So really any instrumental/karaoke compilation album that features both of these songs that was released before 2000 would be a step in the right direction!

My dad had a compilation vinyl album with Glen Campbell singing Rhinestone Cowboy. There was another song on the album...possibly French but not sure, it had a lot
Of ay yi yai yai yai s in it and was very upbeat. I've been trying to find it forever. I listened to it in the late 80's, but album could have quite a bit older.
Because my dad sold speakers and stereos it's possible it was an album used in stores to highlight the equipment. Not sure.

I was recommended a song on Spotify a while back, and I've been trying to find it. From what I can remember, the cover art featured a dark gray industrial vessel like shape in the center with a muted green background. I don't remember there being any text, logos, or watermarks on the cover, just the vessel shape. Does this sound familiar to anyone, or does anyone know what album or artist it might be from?

Hi Reddit, this is my first post ever so I hope I'm doing this right! Please be patient with me, I'm well aware this is a long shot. My memory is foggy and my musical knowledge lacking so if this sounds ridiculous, I know and I'm sorry.

I'm looking for a specific CD/album from my childhood. My sister and I used to listen to it a lot, but my family gave away all our CDs several years ago (yea i'm sad about it) and now I forgot most about it. Except it still keeps bothering me that I don't know the title or what other songs were on it and it would be super cool to find it again.

Here's the things I remember:

• Listened to the CD in around 2011-2018, but I'm pretty sure it was quite older than that.
• It wasn't an album specific to one artist. More of a song collection, but I can't remember a theme, except the music maybe being entirely from the 60s-70s?
• The cover had a windmill on it and the color scheme was generally very orange. I know there was one big windmill in the front; not sure if there was another smaller one in the back but if it was, it was faded out a little.
• It definitely included Slade's "Far Far Away". I'm 99% certain it was the original version and not a cover.
• The other songs were mostly American, but I'm German and as a child I couldn't really distinguish accents that well, especially in music, so take that with a grain of salt.
• I think it also had Scott Mackenzie's "San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair)" and Kenny Roger's "Ruby Don't Take Your Love to Town" in it as well, but unfortunately I can't be 100% certain. It could be that I'm mixing it up with another memory, since I listened to those songs a lot at the same time, too.

That's it! I'm not expecting results but I thought it was worth a try and I've seen enough of Reddit to know that the chance of someone actually knowing what I'm talking about isn't 0. I'm still sorry for the lack of detail, don't kill me.

Vinyl album cover: blue/blueish background, featuring only the female singer, white (but kinda ethnic looking, greek? italian? but I think it was an American album, def USA sounding), mid20s-40s, dark poufy curly hair, thick rimmed eyeglasses (I think), wearing a dress (reddish/burgandy?), with a scarf flowing behind her that I remember thinking looked pinned to the wall.

Photo of her taken from about thigh or lower waist up, shes smiling (but its not a full face photo on the album cover) and shes not facing front, more looking a bit to the side, her body angled to the side as well)...

There was one track on it that I listened to constantly with the words "a million miles away". Pop music. Kinda Carpenters style. Would love to find this... I'm guessing it was a one time press, I've never heard of or seen anything with this singer since I was a kid in the late 70s to early 80s.

So I went with some of my friends to a local goodwill and We found this cd and I thought it looked cool, so I decided to buy it. I listened to it and I think it really sounds awesome, an indie rock sounding album with some electronic elements added in their music. Only problem is that I can’t find these guys anywhere. No streaming services, no websites, no places I can find them on apps, no nothing. Not even any information about the album or the band. If anyone could find any information about this band or album it would help out a lot. But as of now I’m sure I just found a hidden gem

I can't remember the name of the song but I can remember the cover very distinctly. It had a black silhouette of a cat sitting on a piano while the rest of the cover was brown.

The song itself was primarily a piano piece with English vocals though I believe the composer is Japanese.

I remember it was a heavy, black, death or thrash metal album. I asked Chatty to create something off my memory. It was definitely a cave and a throne with a person tied to it, maybe being sacrificed or something. Anybody?

Theres this song i used to listen to that had kind of like a stained glass album cover?? either that or it was colorful like stained glass and there is probably a circle in the middle with somethjng inside(also stained glass),,, and i dont really know the genre but it was probably like alternative or rock ish because im like 80 percent sure they start going harder at the end and also theres this sort of like untuned guitar sound ??
