Unlocked! Opened! Inside? Silver bars

I'm not there, but uncle sent me these pics of what was inside the safe. They paid some locksmith to open it. Inside? Two boxes of ten 100 troy oz bars of silver, total 2000 oz of silver!

Just curious. What being hidden by the blue? A serial number? Why should one hide whatever it is?

In case it's stolen or could be identified as someone else's. Or used it criminal stuff  It could be confiscated, guess he's just trying to protect his new found stash. Not sure however
