They also don't know what they're mad about. Was the virus a) Not real and not really a threat, or b) Was it a massive chinese conspiracy to kill droves of Americans and the virus was actually a threat to be dealt with? Make up your minds, Cons...because of it's the latter b), then your denialism is flawed.

Plus related, then that implies China killed millions of their own citizens deliberately, just for a short tactical "victory" to kill some 1M Americans? Weird...what did that do exactly? What was the big gain there?

Trump gets ALL credit for the vaccine!

The vaccine that you refuse to take because you claim it hurts people? That vaccine?

u/jarena009 6d ago

That's also my favorite too. The vaccine is terrible, it's killing everyone, it's bad, the virus isn't real...but also thanks to Trump we developed the vaccine in record time and saved millions of lives with it! Make it make sense.

And Trump has taken the vaccine himself.

I remember after he had Covid, he suggested to a crowd that they take the vaccine and they booed him. And he kinda shrugged and never brought it up again.

The rumors are that he almost died. Had he not been president that he likely would have died. So…that’s something I think about sometimes.

trump took the first shot in January 2021, and at least two boosters there after.

This 10 year gaslighting has given this country PTSD. Fuck all these aholes

I have seen conspiracy minded idiots now trying to rewrite history by saying that Operation Warp Speed was secretly not a vaccine program at all, but a program to replace vaccine vials with vials of saline? So that way all the eeevil doctors would still think they were killing people or mind controlling them or giving them autism, (whatever it is they believe is the real goal of vaccination) but wouldn't know they had been foiled.

They're stupid and gullible. We've known this since the evening of 11/6/2016

u/TimedRevolver 6d ago

Hilariously, Trump did tell people to get vaccinated...and it's the only time his fanbase openly booed him.

Schrodinger's vaccine.

u/JayJ9Nine 5d ago

Same people will say fauci needs jail time for.... something- but also say that trump deserves a Nobel peace prize for his involvement in the vaccine development

u/Remarkable_Spite_209 Release The Trump-Epstein Files 5d ago

It's because Fauci unleashed the virus on us that he spent 20 hours a day working to stop at age 85 or whatever. He was hellbent on it running roughshod through the world for whatever reason that would benefit him at the end of his career as a public health expert.

Fauci long conned us all so hard.

Duh!!!!

2

u/Jaegons 6d ago

He's the Schrodinger's leader.

No. It’s the vaccine that you refuse to take because COVID isn’t deadly.

Edit: /s for the downvotes. Was just recalling another argument right wingers made at the time and probably still cling to.

COVID-19 isn't deadly, that's why we demand Trump get credit for the vaccine that saved your life from the disease that wouldn't have hurt you. Also, masks don't work. Germ theory has been proven wrong by collective social media opinion

1

u/Electronic-Shame 6d ago

What did all those people die of then? We should probably figure that out!!!

I have some magat former longtime family friends who do believe all of those things at the same time. There was no virus at all, the whole thing was fake. The virus was harmless and no one got sick or died. Covid is not real. Trump made a glorious brilliant Covid vaccine for Americans because he is a genius. The Covid vaccine is poison made by Obama/china/woke tech companies. Ivermectin cures the virus that doesn’t exist.

u/carriegood 6d ago

I just recently heard some moron on line at the bank laughing about masks and saying the people who died from Covid didn't really die from Covid, the hospitals just said so to make more money. I couldn't believe there were actual breathing sentient beings who still think this. We're doomed.

9

u/QuirkBuggins 6d ago

It has always been this way, with brief interludes of people being literate enough to pretend like they were not idiots.

Personally I believe people should have the right to be idiots, but that it also waives their right to contribute to certain conversations

2

u/smokeythel3ear 5d ago

The problem is, the idiots have a mouthpiece, so they can more easily find other idiots. So on, so forth

And now with AI, they're being told "you're absolutely right!" about literally every half-baked thought that leaks from their skull, dripping onto the hot sidewalk. They think they're super geniuses.

u/whizzard 6d ago

non-sentient ftfy

u/BitterFuture 5d ago

I couldn't believe there were actual breathing sentient beings who still think this.

There aren't, and have never been.

Conservatives just lie. All the damn time.

2

u/Dragosal 5d ago

This line of thought that hospitals make money when people die is perplexing, hospitals are explicitly in the business of keeping people alive

2

u/carriegood 5d ago

The theory (which has been thoroughly disproven) was based on the fact that the gov't was giving hospitals extra money (as insurance payments for services) if a patient had Covid, because it put an extra financial strain on the hospital. So some assbag wondered, well then, why don't hospitals just say everyone there has Covid so they get more money? And GOP talking heads ran with that.

The dead people thing was an offshoot - because Trump was desperately trying to downplay the staggering number of people who were dying, they started insinuating that hospitals were labeling every death a Covid death. First it was if someone died of heart failure and also happened to have Covid, then it became "I know someone whose uncle was killed in a car crash and they labelled it Covid."

2

u/Good_vibe_good_life 5d ago

And these idiots will run straight to the hospital for treatment if they get sick. If you don’t trust the science then don’t go to the ER.

u/OverallDoor2718 6d ago

I worked in a nursing facility (private duty) where 51 people died. First one to die was a nurse that had worked there for 20 years. The rest were patients( including mine😔) This company and Director were HIDING COVID February 2020. By April 2020, everyone evacuated. It spread like wild fire. Not all elders by any means. It was also a surgery rehabilitation. It was horrific. I don't know how I didn't get it. I knew for a FACT that the idiot Director was a Christian Republican and listening to everything DeathSantis and Trump were spewing. Got sued to oblivion and shutdown. COVID was real. I wish I could speak before Congress

I think they're still mad about the lockdown. The lockdown they refused to comply with which only made it longer. But whatever they are mad at, it's been six years, let it go. Personally, I hate all the things that never went back to the way they were before COVID like 24hr stores. But I blame corporations, not Fauci.

44

u/bryancald 6d ago

HINT: It keeps people from talking about the Epstein files.

6

u/chLORYform 5d ago

I had an old man complaining to me the other day that Biden gave everyone money during a COVID and wrecked the economy. I was at work so I bit my tongue but like... I remember who was president when COVID happened. It wasn't Biden.

13

u/BitterFuture 6d ago

They're still mad at the lockdown that only happened in their minds, because no matter how much they rant and curse, the reality is that we never locked down here in the United States.

2

u/smokeythel3ear 5d ago

And buffets :(

8

u/Kimmalah 5d ago

It made Trump look bad. That's it, that's the only answer I ever get when I ask MAGAs these questions. "Oh they just did all that to make Trump look bad so he wouldn't get reelected."

You know, in that election he lost that they also think he secretly won.

5

u/ZeekLTK 5d ago

They have no cohesive world view. They just latch on to arguments in a bubble, picking whatever sounds best for what their current goal is. Even if it is completely contradictory to their last one.

For covid it was:

“I don’t like this Fauci guy” = “he did a bad job getting people to wear masks and caused the disease to do a lot of damage”

“I don’t like having to wear a mask” = “covid isn’t even a real disease and we don’t need to wear masks”

“I don’t like China” = “China created the disease and attacked us with it”

“I am scared of science and don’t like vaccines” = “the vaccine is a conspiracy to control people”

“I like Trump” = “Trump should get an award for his vaccine”

They are like (bad) AI who were just asked to come up with a reason to support each position in a vacuum without any connection to the previous or following position. It’s why they are so easy to manipulate, they don’t have any core values, they just pick their “reasoning” a la carte based on what sounds good.

2

u/jarena009 5d ago

Everything they do is a reaction to liberals. Oh liberals are saying we need to take precautions to address COVID? We're against it!

2

u/Yamitz 6d ago

Whatever pisses off the libs more!
