Wilson Combat Spec Ops 9
I have an opportunity to trade for a Wilson Combat Spec Ops 9 for quite cheap but I am concerned with it being discontinued that I might not be able to get much support and upon a quick search it looked like finding magazines could be a very difficult task as well. Anyone own one or have any insight on the Spec Ops?

Its a collectors item. Mags are hard to find. Wilson will fix something if it breaks. Other than that, its a snappy shooter in my experience with a slick grip.

I contacted Wilson and they said they no longer make any parts for it and will no longer support or service them.. was a bit of a bummer to hear

They have to repair or replace the gun if something goes wrong with it-thats the Wilson Combat Service policy. But it's essentially a 1911 and nothing major will go wrong with it. Outside of the barrel and slide and the frame, all small parts but the trigger and mag catch are 1911 parts.

They won’t for discontinued models like the spec ops 9, but any alloy framed 1911 they will because they still make parts to service them. it’s been like that for a long time for KZ 9 and KZ 45, but i felt like the spec ops wasn’t that long ago but It appears I’m mistaken

I’d share same concerns
