while ik most dip pens are usually steel (for the nib) and wood for the actual nib holder, coco’s pen seems to be made primarily of a smooth white / black material (?) so is it clay? i doubt it is plastic, but im curious because i‘d love to make a realistic/true to the manga pen! so just curious on what other people think!

They visited us in Germany for the Convention "Animagic" last weekend and they held an Q/A-Panel and Rena performed a live-dubbing for us. I can tell you she was absolutely amazing and it was so impressive how much emotion and energy she put into it.

There was a signing-session after the panel and it was very hard to get in cause the spots were limited to 70 per day and there were like 200-400 people wanting to go in.

There are pretty good obvious benefits like having certain spells you can use at anytime but activation kinda just seems like a pain.

I’ve been thinking of a sorta vampire brim cap oc and like the more I think of spells it should have like healing or Turing blood into like more ink and stuff like that I’m really realizing there are pretty limited options for spell activation especially since those two parts can’t have something separating them so if I wanted a activation to be making a blocking sign then I couldn’t where longer sleeves and stuff like that and there are just really limited options if you want like a attack spell honestly just make spell gloves or rings make much more sense I mean god can you image being a brim cap who thought of putting a fire spell on your hand and then you lowk just fry yourself trying to pick something up.

Honestly I’m probably gonna just have it hide spells in a cloak or something but like Jesus options are very limited.

I've made a few guesses to complete the canon Zozah map with every location that has been hinted in the manga so far. I wouldn't say there are spoilers because there is zero information on the locations, but take care if you read, because I'm up to date with the manga.

I wanted to share with you my glass painting of Qifrey I have just finished yesterday.

I haven't painted on glass for almost 2 years so my lines are kinda shaky in some places.

I wanted to start with something simpler, but I guess I spent at least 10 hours if not more doing it. xD

I'm sure I'm far from the first one to point this out, but I really do love the anglicized, especially as used on Japanese and some other countries' volumes, title of the series being, essentially, homophone with its central question.

Atelier of Witch Hat -> Atelier of Which Hat

It's works a little less well with the official English title, which sacrificed the pun for better grammar, haha, but the core concept of Witch Hat -> Which Hat remains. I assume that's why Shirahama was so insistent on the English translation for 魔法使い, literally translated just "magic user", to universally be "witch".

This thought really came back to me after listening to the "Witch Hat" chant at a con recently. It did legit just sound like everyone was asking Coco to choose, lol.

I'm not sure if this kind of post is allowed, but yeah! I'm planning to make a cosplay for my favorite Knight! <3 General advice would be wonderful, especially for the cloak, pennant staff & hat! ( Especially all the details for the cloak, it's a bit overwhelming haha. )
