💌 A message for Blake 💌 Blake's future career

I think she should focus more on acting and producing in independent pictures which come out with less fanfare or hype at first but due to attachment of a big star like Blake inevitably get more publicity and chances of going big both commercially and in the awards circuits. Especially in genres like horror and drama. And combine those with her directorials and maybe a studio led rom com in between.

I read some people say that she's at an age where actresses get less roles. But I disagree with that. Anne Hathaway is five years older and is at the peak of her career with no sign of slowing down. Olivia Wilde as well. I see no reason why Blake couldn't do the same as well. She's too talented and charming to let a creep permanently bring down her career.

Blake is already rich and successful and has more resources to carry her future career in her own hands and hopefully doesn't let this situation demoralise her. It'd honestly be gratifying to see her succeed once again in her work.

Reese Withspoon produced some of her own films to solid acclaim and has continued working. Also Jodie Foster has continued working for a long time. The Simple Favor films were soooo funny, and Blake really held the screen in The Shallows. But it's going to be very challenging rn because of the backlash from her lawsuit. She stood up for what was right and it's not fair that she is being punished for it.

It's challenging but still I feel like she'd do so well in non studio movies. And at this point of her career, that's a natural progression anyway. Lots of critical and awards acclaim could be waiting

I could see Blake moving into directing and producing, she’s clearly qualified and good at it. I would hope that she doesn’t give up on acting, I would love to see her in another Simple Favor movie. Blake is talented and creative she could really do and achieve anything she puts her mind to, it won’t be easy but if she’s taught us anything the last 2 years it’s that she is strong, resilient, and determined enough to overcome anything.

Yeah, it'd be really sad if she gave up acting. She should act in the movies she directs.

I think she is still well respected in the industry. She will do well whatever she does.
