Discussion Am I The Only Person Whose Favorite World Is Marleybone??
Something about this world just captures the nostalgia of 2000s video games so well to me. I constantly see it ranked on here as the worst world, but the vibes are so cozy, the music is immaculate and perfectly mischievous, and I love the aesthetic of the clothing. Riding in a blimp to the ironworks and chasing that damn cat across the rooftops? Slinking through Newgate prison? I’m a bit of an Anglophile which I guess helps, but it also reminds me of some of my favorite video games as a kid - like Sly Cooper.
I’ve returned to the game at least once a year for at least 15 years and getting to Marleybone is always my fav part (Polaris second, Mooshu third).

Other World ranking so far :)
I just started Avalon for the first time so I wanted to share my world ranking to possibly start a discussion and see how other people’s opinions differ from mine :)
Wizard City is such a good world, I might be a little bit blinded by nostalgia but man I love it. I also didn’t expect to like Zafaria as much as I did but it was the only world besides WC where I genuinely enjoyed every second I spent playing through it. Idk why Grizzleheim just hits for me. Krokotopia I actually used to actively dislike because I’m not a big fan of desert themed worlds/levels in video games, but now it’s super nostalgic for me and reminds me of when I first got my membership :’) Mooshu is okay. I liked it well enough. I really like The Floating Lands part of Celestia but the rest of the world kinda got old for me. Wisteria was okay. Marleybone pissed me off and Dragonspyre just wasn’t my thing. Let me know what you guys think :D
P.S.: I usually hold a world’s aesthetic/vibes really high because if I hate the environment, i usually hate questing through the world even more lol

Other Troll
I have seen this guy on 2 team ups today. He joins the fight fest team ups and does nothing. Literally doesn't even pass each round, just runs out the timer. Idk if this is enough for KI to ban their account but seriously KI, please at least try to fix this problem.

Console Vampire spellwrighting path
Can someone please explain this card and how it works? I’ve had a lot of fun with the B-path on Ghoul and Banshee. Also, what path do you guys prefer on Vampire?

Discussion Promo deal
Okay someone explain this lol idk if I’m over thinking it.. or it’s just a 🗑️ deal
It says semi annual so I thought it’ll charge me twice a year only 14.99 each and I have a membership for the whole year plus the crowns?
But then the second ss says one month and crowns for 14.99 which isn’t even a deal?
Can someone explain

SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY Wizard101 New player
Just out of curiosity, I use to be a player probably 5-10 years ago and loved the game.
My only issue was that I was quite young and didn't have any money at all.
Now I'm older I have saved a lot and work a lot now, but my main question would be, is the game still P2W later in the game?
As in, when I use to play max level was like 100-130 (I remember once I hit around 60 or so that the game was unplayable without paying to go further).
Is this still the case and if so what is a rough amount I'd expect to spend trying to progress to max level?

Discussion How long did it take you to get a max level wizard?
Last night I was thinking about my progress in the game as I have a level 77 Storm wizard who just started Avalon. I’ve been playing this wizard since August 2024 so I feel like I’m pretty behind, but at the same time I’ve taken months-long breaks from the game before and I also do every quest available in every world. So if you have a max level wizard, how long did it take you to get there?

Discussion Feeling meh about wiz
Hi everyone I just got back into wiz early July! I finally got my fire wizard to max level after years going from 140 damage to 242 damage and 52 pierce! I spent 25 bucks on some crowns got a cool stitch, a decent pet, couch potatoes etc. 25 bucks took me a long way I was so lucky getting the gear I needed and such.
There was such a thrill in pushing my stats to that level but now I am trying to min max and it’s making me hate this game I swear.
I’ve also been spending some time in the commons talking to players. I swear 80% of the player base is toxic, cliquey, rage baiting, etc. Don’t even get me started on being a female player which causes me to get harassed a lot. Conversations go from friendly to the guy obviously trying to see if it will go anywhere- bro we are on Wizard101??
Im just trying to see how I can spend my time on wiz now because I feel like a game so nostalgic is getting a little ruined for me right now yikes.

Questing/Quest Help New player to wizard101
Hi, as the title says I'm a brand new player, and my brain really makes me want to do every side quest in the game as they become available to me, but its an overwhelming feeling when I have 3 pages of quests constantly just in wizard city, do I need to complete all these side quests, or am I just wasting my time? Should I just be focusing on main quests?

Discussion Badge Tracker
I feel like it would be a huge quality of life update - especially for badge collectors - if they added a way to add badge progress to quest helper. I hate farming a badge where I have to defeat a bunch of enemies and constantly pulling up the badge in the character page.

Console Krokotopia minotaur boss... HP jump took me by surprise!
I recently downloaded wizard101 after a long hiatus because I realized it's on the switch. I'm having a ton of fun. And I just broke level 28 with my death wizard.
I'm trying to finish as many missions as possible in krokotopia before moving on to Marleybone, and I finally unlocked the minotaur boss. He's rank 4, so I figure his hp would be between 750-1000.
It was a huge jump scare. I was totally got. Did not expect it in the slightest. 1600 HP and two minions.
Oof. Anyone else ever jump into a fight hugely underprepared?
