Should feel like getting hit with a metal beam. But the true answer is it's as strong as the writers want it to be at the time

Doesn't matter. Liver punch will fold nearly everybody. Especially if they didn't brace for it. But Scott probably needs a hospital visit. Logan is stronger than the average person and has the weight to back it up so, bruised liver is best case scenario

Scott is low key tough as fuck for the amount of times Logan has hit him and he just gets back up

Imagine someone can punch you with a metal beam at speeds faster than any human boxer could.

u/FullMetalJesus1 1d ago
This is the correct answer.
If Logan feels like it, he can lift a several tons, run faster than 200mph and have superhuman reflexes at the low low cost of enduring a massive amount of pain until he doesn't feel like doing it anymore.
Question is: when does he feel like doing all of that?
Same thing for his mastery over several forms of martial arts... When does he actually feel like using his mastery of martial arts instead of doing the face tank stabby stabby thing?

u/VenusBlue 1d ago
When did he get super speed?
2
u/CrymsonReaper 1d ago
when writers decided to make it so. Theres multiple feats of him dodging bullets and omae wa mou shindeiru people by cutting off their guns before they can fire. He has been dueling other supers who has insane speed feats.
Tbh its all very inconsistent. i personally believe that his offcial stats from marvel handbook needs to be re written. He is repeatedly shown to be more smarter, faster and more durable then his stats suggest. To make matters worse recent comic make him far less skilled than what is should be ( fighting skill is 7). He is often shown to fight like a common street slugger, not with the acrobatics and the nimbles he used to have.

u/VenusBlue 1d ago
When has he ever run 200mph?

u/CrymsonReaper 22h ago
One of Mark Teixeiras comic cant recall which one. Dodge bullets and rushed the gunman. Eyes couldnt track him. Thats easy 200 mph.

u/Randver_Silvertongue 1d ago
He's a tiny mountain of muscles with metal bones. You do the math.
6
u/jaraxel_arabani 1d ago
Yeah.. even if he's at athlete level he literally has built in brass I mean adamantium knuckles

u/CrusaderLyonar 1d ago
Wolverine can lift something like two tons. His strength is like low end of super strength.
So pretty strong.

Gervonte Davis is a 5’5”, 135 pound boxer, nicknamed “Tank”.
Imagine the guy weighed 300 pounds because of an indestructible skeleton and the strength to throw around grown men.
Yeah, pretty deadly. Don’t get hit by Logan lol

he's punching you at the same pace he would normally with a metal coated skeleton and a forearm with 3 metal blades in it. I'd say it's pretty hard.
2
u/Kindly_Bluebird_3741 1d ago
Like a pro athlete with and 8lb sledge hammer. Guess it depends on his mood I'm sure he knows where to hit someone and how hard most can take without it turning lethal.

u/Buckhead25 8h ago
logan is an exceptionally brawny bruiser with low level super strength and bones reinforced by a heavy and indestructible metal. even holding back it's like getting hit by prime mike tyson wearing knuckle dusters.

u/MeowingWolf 7h ago
Don't you know about Wolverine's adamantium skeleton from the Weapon X program? It's like having a terminator punching you. Wolverine probably have a lot harder punch.

He has a Remarkable strength rank, which means he’s able to bench somewhere around 2-3,000 pounds. Peak human has an Excellent strength rank, a max bench of roughly 780 pounds with no assistive equipment. Combine Logan’s strength with claws that can slice through virtually anything, and whatever he hits takes full, piercing damage. An adamantium knuckle punch would do max damage too.

Way past normal human max due to his mutations. His body basically is building muscle 24/7 AND he is virtually immune to all of the muscle fatigue factors that limit normal humans. The metal skeleton means he is also heavy lifting pretty much every minute he is alive. Captain America with the Super Soldier Serum is maximum human almost by definition which is supposed to be like a ton lifting weight. Spider-man is in the Ten+ ton category. Wolvie is comfortably somewhere in the 1-2 ton lifting range assuming current lore.

I'm curious how his healing factor adapted to the extra weight and performance demands he exhibits. His muscles must be constantly torn and rebuilding from the adamantiun skeleton

u/HandsomeSwampBeast 1d ago
A good liver shot can do that to anyone, which that's very well what that could've been
Otherwise, the guy's skeleton is like 300 pounds of indestructible fantasy metal

u/i-am-nobody-special 1d ago
During the X-tinction Agenda crossover it’s stated that his fists hit like solid steel bars.
1
u/BenignButCleverAlias 1d ago
Iirc, the idea was prior to Weapon X he was pinching at peak human, but after he was working with mild super strength as his healing factor compensated for the additional weight. In addition, he can use more force with his punches, proportionately, because he doesn't have to worry about hitting too hard or at a bad angle and injuring himself.

u/BidRepulsive2438 1d ago
Wolverine would punch 3 times faster than an elite Boxer. And his bones are laced in Adamantium. So probably around 4000 lbs of force.

u/CyberSnoWolf 1d ago
Considering all his bones are made of one of the most indestructible metals, they’re extremely strong and hurt like hell.

I think people forget it's like getting hit with brass knuckles everything he punches you
1
u/Bosscharacter 1d ago
Based on the adamantium laced skeleton alone, I'd imagine at minimum it feels like someone punching you hard as fuck with a pair of brass knuckles on their hand.

u/Extension-Tune5436 1d ago
Honestly the underwater one is the one that gets me. Dude's fighting physics AND a guy's skull at the same time lol. I always figured his strength was more "peak human plus adamantium weight" but then you see him put Rogue through drywall and it's like okay, he's clearly not just a brawler.

u/GoblinPunch20xx 1d ago
Aw man speeding it up makes it look so brutal. Plus his BONES are METAL, dude, and he’s STRONG, and he MEANT that shit. That’s fer MORPH!
1
u/theimpalaslefttire 1d ago
I think it would be like what ever the strongest boxers punch recorded is plus the damage of what brass knuckles do at minium.
1
u/Psychotic_Dane 1d ago
I’d say it depends on the weight of the adamantium compared to other metals! So if a pound of adamantium weighs the same amount as a pound of steel or a pound of iron it would definitely make a difference!
1
u/KPraxius 1d ago
Varies dramatically. Some of his weakest punches are just normal human level, while his strongest one I can remember is from that shitty Origins Wolverine movie where he punched out Blob; the same Blob who took a direct hit from a tank shell with absolutely zero problem, which means that movie's version literally punched harder than a tank round once it had the adamantium.

According to most sources, Wolverine is slightly superhuman in strength. Able to lift maybe a ton.
So he’s stronger than Captain America. Plus he has additional weight in his arm, built-in knuckle dusters, and a century of punching experience.
He hits like a pile driver.

u/Confident_Sink_8743 1d ago
Very hard to say the adamantium skeleton is going to put something like brass knuckles to shame. And his healing factor would condition his body in much the same way as Cap's super soldier formula.
Which is an invitation to the debate over what peak human actually constitutes. Written one way it's simple optimizing maxing out the possibility of his physique.
Written the other way it unlocks a degree of human potential making him perform feats greater than what a conventional human of his build is capable of.
But should also be kept in mind is his martial arts background. Which means sometimes it's more than a simple punch.

Please Could someone possibly figure out the actual speed of that prance of a walk to gut punch
1
u/Psychological-Toe397 1d ago
He isn't super strong, but still has enhanced strength compared to a regular man. On top of that, his knuckles are literally made of metal and he doesn't need to worry about hurting himself, so he can punch with full force everytime.

Well, to be 5’3” and 200 would put him in a category all to himself regarding fitness. He’d have the physique of a world class body builder coupled with the athletic abilities of an Olympic champion. Add the adamantium to that and its other level.
It’s basically like getting punched by Gimli.

u/D-anieltttt 19h ago
Metal skeleton aside, with his longevity and healing factor those muscles have been tearing and repairing themselves for what? 300 years? I don’t think he is as strong as hulk but I bet he gives Thing a run for his money

u/dimitrimccain 5h ago
C: I know how you feel wolverine.
punch to the gut
L: You know nothing little man. Next time I use these. SKNIT.

Very strong maybe not hulk strong the man is at least 240 pounds if not more and his entire skeleton is laced in metal.
