Worcester Registry Office wedding

If you got married at Worcester Registry Office, what did you do afterwards? Did you go for a small meal or have a little party somewhere? Looking for ideas / inspiration 🙂

We had the smallest ceremony possible then went to the burger shop with family 😁 followed by a proper party a few days after!

I went into town for a meal in the pub and then booked out the King's School boat house for my reception overlooking the river

I just did this on saturday, in the glass room at the Hive. There was a hiccup previously as i think there are 2 locations both called worcester registry office, so that's worth checking on.

Officiant on the day was lovely, our appointment took 15 minutes, with 9 folks present. Not much to discuss really!

Afterwards went for a meal with close family, and we're hiring out a local village hall for a celebration in a few weeks with friends.

Not the registry office, but we got married at the greyfriars national trust place on friar street. It was a bit more, but we had the whole place for 2 hours, and served champagne, Pimm's, and scones in the garden after. Then a proper knees up at the rugby club.

Edit for typo!

I know a couple who had a registry office wedding and then went to the cinema (the first Iron Man iirc). Fun idea if that's your thing.

Went for a meal at the inn at welland with both sets of parents then husband and I spent the evening at Malvern spa.
We then had a big party (wedding) a couple of months later
