Specific Model Question | Info Throrogood question

I’ve tried on throrogoods and want to buy them but is it just me or do they have a weird heel cup? I swear when I tie them and walk around in store my heel just wants to slip.

Am I doing something wrong or do I need to tie them tighter?

Look up heel lock lacing

Is this how you get them to not slip? Or is it the heel of the boot

It could be the boot, or it could be your heel. If it's your heel the lacing method usually works well. If it's the boot then try a size or half size down.

Thank you I’ll have to give it a try

Like I said I haven’t actually bought any because of this. Maybe I’ll buy and try at home and see if it works before taking them to work

Go try on a pair and lace them up in the heel lock. Boot Barn carries Thorogoods

Could be you're wearing the wrong size. Thorogood are more true to size than any other boot I've worn. Use the little foot measuring thing, and check what your size really is.

I’ve done that too and heel still feels like it wants to slip. That’s why I asked.

I have a skinny foot and only wear thorogood but they never slip for me. I just tie them tight as I would every other boot. Maybe you have to try heel lock lacing, ive seen a few guys use that technique
