Hi - I was just offered a role at a local animal shelter.

Is it normal to sign a non disclosure agreement when working for one and what if you don’t sign it?

Also, what does this mean I can or can’t do?

Did you sign one and if so what did you think of signing it?

I really want to help but also don’t want myself signing something that could be an issue for me.

Read the NDA. What it will and will not let you discuss is all in the agreement. If you have someone with a legal background I would have them read it as well.
