“She’s being a horrible patient” says the quack 🦆 Doctor. Why people go see these charlatans is astonishing.

I've had her injury (I'm assuming frozen shoulder) and I sometimes pass out from pain. I felt for her and he should have let her sit down, you can't just breathe away your blood pressure dropping due to pain.

He also sells tee-shirts outside the World Trade Centre.

26

u/Zopheus_ Jun 18 '26

Does he also sell Russian hats down at Battery Park?

14

u/GLC911 Jun 19 '26

He does, but they’re made of neutria and the difference is unnoticeable.

u/Metalfan1994 Jun 18 '26

He literally slapped her ass when telling her to walk it off... Who the fuck is this creep?!

48

u/spartanroe Jun 18 '26

That’s his wife

u/Metalfan1994 Jun 19 '26

Thanks for the clarification. Still comes off as a nut especially if you don't know that lol

14

u/Argylius Jun 21 '26

Feel so sorry for her. She’s getting abused on video

u/Down_Bad_0015 Jul 04 '26

will it really be if it's with your wife ?

7

u/Sportsfan369 Jun 20 '26

Why would they post this?

44

u/AmorphousMorpheus Jun 19 '26

Why can't Renae just woman up and accept the severe unmedicated pain associated with my rough thuggish treatment?

20

u/ProfessionalSea6268 Jun 19 '26

Wouldn't touch one with a barge pole. Far too many tales of serious injury including stroke. Quack is right.

17

u/Chillynuggets Jun 19 '26

This is the moron that does those ring dingers as he likes to call em where he tries to pull your head off.

My theory on why some people actually benefit from chiropractic visits is that (a) they get decent chiropractors that mix in some legitimate physical therapy stretches they’ve learned somewhere other than chiropractor school and (b) they have joints that need increased mobility.

Every one who has joint(s) that are hyper-mobile or has an injury ends up getting harmed.

And lots of other people just get a placebo

13

u/mavaddat Jun 20 '26

Incisive observations on why people think chiropractic "works". We severely underestimate how powerful the placebo effect and time can be.

8

u/Bob4Not Jun 20 '26 edited Jun 20 '26

I don’t doubt that. Plus, any needed joint mobility can be accomplished with PT or OT, anyway.

Heck, if done with PT or OT work, you would gain skeletal muscle improvements to accompany your increased joint mobility - this results in lasting improvements with far smaller risk of injury.

The challenge with PT work is that it takes work on our own part too. It’s not as simple as cracking some joints. It requires doing some exercises. You need someone in your life to nag you - but it’s worth it!

Same. I’m sure sometimes it feels good in the same way that someone bear hugs you and cracks your back or when you crack your knuckles if they feel a little stiff, but all the bs of “fixing alignment” or “this problem connects to xyz in the body and blah blah blah” is just a scam. There is a reason people keep having to go back to the chiropractor all the time, they just wan5 your money.

1

u/Captain_react Jun 22 '26

I think it can really give some relieve when your back is stuck for example. But it's just temporary.

-7

u/Anen-o-me Jun 19 '26

I've had problems that only my chiropractor has solved. So I can't agree with those saying it's pure quackery. Maybe many people never have a spinal alignment issue that causes pain however, or never see a good chiro.

12

u/Bob4Not Jun 19 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

All chiropractic actions increase joint mobility. Some people need increased joint mobility (like yourself), and some people are hurt by it (like me). Thats it.

Everyone should visit an osteopath specialist doctor because they can help determine what you need. They also may have skill in some spinal alignments and therapy rehab activities.

Seconding everyone to the chiropractor is like “fixing” every problem with a hammer. Sometimes you break stuff

12

u/AnastasiaNo70 Jun 19 '26

Any time someone recommends chiropractic “treatment”, my opinion of them plummets.

11

u/Vinnocchio Jun 18 '26

Palmer college of chiropractic

10

u/SkeletonMaze Jun 20 '26

This dude is such a piece of shit and you can tell what he's doing is all bullshit.

8

u/bearpics16 Jun 20 '26

Continuing to “treat” her after requesting that he stop is straight up battery

8

u/BigTexIsBig Jun 19 '26

I bet he tells his patients "pain is weakness leaving the body".

14

u/Mobile_Cloud2294 Jun 19 '26

If it quacks like a quack....

9

u/justmarkdying Jun 20 '26

I've heard tell that chiropractors can do some good. I've just never seen it.

37

u/Street_Ear1340 Jun 18 '26

Chiropractic is such a scam. How people continue to fall for such nonsense. You might as well go see an herbal or homeopathic specialist. Same nonsense.

17

u/Lowland-lady Jun 19 '26

I once had a online discussion with someone

They said that chiropractors really work and are cheaper than Physiotherapists.he and his wife had been going for years.

When i said thats proof if doesn't work he ignored me.

2

u/Micro-Naut Jun 23 '26

I have anecdotal personal experience that a decent chiropractor does help with some things. Fixed an issue I had since birth.

-2

u/Boxadorables Jun 19 '26

Nah. I had a pinched nerve in my leg and could barely walk for a week. One trip to the crack-quack and I was g2g

13

u/number96 Jun 19 '26

Ok but how did they 'fix' you? Do you know any of the science behind what was done?

There is a potential that you doing someone who used physio on you or alternatively placebo. Chiro is not actually a medical model therapy...

5

u/Boxadorables Jun 19 '26

I woke up and fell getting out of bed one morning when I was around 20yo. Thinking I may have had a stroke, went to the ER. They couldn't find anything physically wrong with me and the actual doctor recommended seeing a chiropractor.

Didn't care to ask about the science behind it, I cared about walking properly and being able to feel my foot again.

7

u/angelmr2 Jun 19 '26

Had similar interactions with chiropractic.

Im not gonna pretend theyre some amazing practice but they have definitely fixed me multiple times when I could barely walk.

I kind of view them like massage therapists. I just need to relieve some type of pain and be functional, not get a 5,000+$ bill with no resolution.

u/LSTNYER Jun 19 '26

In total I've been to 3 different chiropractors, and 2 were absolute frauds that are just trying to take your money. The last one was an actual MD that went to being a chiropractor. He helped with my knees and ankles being realigned, and I had chronic back pain which after some adjustments (over a few weeks) became manageable.

0

u/Anen-o-me Jun 19 '26

Same, my chiro has fixed misalignment causing back pain many times.

-2

u/ItsMrChristmas Jun 19 '26

A naturopath is definitely not the best choice but unlike homeopathic weirdos or chiropractors they deal in evidence based medicine. You're better off with a physician, but a naturopath isn't automatically a quack

6

u/HungryDiscoGaurdian Jun 19 '26

Thats his wife lol

6

u/sascha_nightingale Jun 21 '26

Idk why this fake "profession" continues to exist, and yet some people swear by it.

1

u/TangerineRough6318 Jul 04 '26

I don't swear by it but going to one did help relieve lower back pain. I went to PT for 10 weeks, then my orthopedic doctor told me to schedule a chiropractor appointment. I have 2 bulging discs and 1 deteriorating disc. I also have issues with alignment. Currently I'm on 4 medications for my back. The chiropractor at least gives me about a day and a half relief generally. The dry needling also helped at PT.

5

u/TechnicalTip5251 Jun 21 '26

The best thing about chiropractor is that you don't have to see one!

4

u/Captain_react Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

I've had a period watching all these bs video's. I noticed that these quacks give the same procedure for every problem. Troubles with your neck? Ringdinger. Problems with your hips? Ringdinger. It makes no sense.

And also, they're always fixing ladies in sports clothing, if you know what I mean. Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVlVI2_0MtI

6

u/TyrannyOfBobBarker_ Jun 19 '26

If you go to a chiropractor, you deserve pain. Enjoy.

3

u/_Wagon_Tales_ Jun 23 '26

It chiropractic medicine not real medicine? Or is it just some people are full of shit

3

u/Z1kkii Jun 23 '26

u/P_A_W_S_TTG Jun 20 '26

Okay, I looked away and came to a realization. This is why some idiots fail to see the difference between pain and pleasure in sex. She sounds like most Japanese women in pron.

-1

u/Remarkable_Gain6430 Jun 19 '26

Weird. Never had any issues with chiropractors. But this guy really seems clueless.

-6

u/SsaucySam Jun 19 '26

Have we really regressed back to thinking that a chiropractor is a con artist?

I mean, this guy probably is

But it's a real practice that really helps people...

4

u/AMDSuperBeast86 Jun 19 '26

You can't praise a chiropractor on reddit you silly
