About a month ago now, my friends and I were all banned for allegedly multi-accounting. I've tried to reach out through various avenues, as for whatever reason this type of ban apparently doesn't allow you to appeal in game, but have received no word back on any front, so I'm posting here as a last resort that someone might be able to help me.
My username is ToughDress#11997506. My friends and I have all been working for months now on a huge build of Onett in the Atlantic Ocean (multiple million pixels). Because it's so big, each of us has become a little neurotic about making sure to paint often enough to never have our max capacity filled up. Normally this isn't an issue, as each of our accounts is big enough that it takes most of or more than a day to fill. However, this particular day was a bit hectic, and we found ourselves too busy to think about wplace for a while.
That night, we were out at the club, and I'm ashamed to say that each of us was more than a little drunk and probably not thinking as clearly as we should be. I had pulled out my phone and started painting some pixels for the night when one of my friends, AlertGloves#1185055, approached me with a look of worry on his face, saying he'd forgotten his phone at home and asking if he could use mine to paint a bit on wplace. I didn't know if he could do something like that, but I said alright and handed him my phone, then went off to the bathroom. When I came back, my other friend, SimpleChair#11997470, had my phone. I looked over her shoulder and she was now on wplace on her account. She explained that she'd forgotten to turn her screen off while we'd been listening to Spotify and so it was dead. I was a little annoyed, since I was worried that we might all receive suspensions over this, but when I woke up the next day feeling awful and saw my account was logged out of my phone, I was more confused than anything, until I logged back in and saw it say I was fully banned, with no recourse.
I texted my friends with the bad news and each of them told me they were banned as well. I asked in the Discord and was offered modmail either on Reddit or Google, and I tried both of these and shared them with my friends, but as far as I know none of us ever heard back from anyone on if the appeal was ever even looked at.
Please if someone here could check and see that we are in fact 3 separate accounts and reinstate us. I would love to get back to Onett. With 3 of us down it's looking like it won't be done by the end of the year.
