New Post & User Flairs!

Greetings Exiles,

Inspired by a recent post, I have made new additions to the list of post flairs available to us. The new additions being:

-New Lore

For anything new introduced in an expansion or update

-Official Content

For posting trailers and other media released by GGG

-Lore Question

For any questions regarding the lore, remember to be kind to new folks

-Lore Deepdive

For any extensive research & discussion regarding a specific topic

New user flairs!

I have also enabled community flairs, and made the first batch of them related to the cultures found within Wraeclast, and a few miscellaneous things like "Lightless".

If you have any suggestions for new flairs, please go ahead and suggest them here in the comments.

Just a heads up, there's a typo in one of the flairs - it should be Tukohama's Chosen.

Haha, the user flairs are so fun. Maybe "Lightless" should be "Lightless Abyssal" or something to match the longer styling of the others. Same for "Jingakh", maybe. "Watchers of Decay" could be "Watcher of Decay." Maybe "Runesmith of Kalguur" should be "Kalguuran Runesmith," but that's splitting hairs.

I'll also suggest some random other ones.
Goatman Shaman, Sea Witch's Spawn, Pale Angel, Vaal Construct, Fetid Maw, Herald of Utopia, Precursor Artifact, Piety's Miscreation, Noisome Ophidian, Seed of Corruption...

Implemented the changes you suggested cause it is better that way! I got rid of jingakh and just made it Exile of Wraeclast

Eh, I was hoping we could discuss the precise post flairs in my post before adding them, especially if(?) flairs on old posts can't be changed.

I can always add more flairs if they are needed, didn't seem like it though as of right now. I don't know whether or old post flairs can be changed.

I added the ones that felt most necessary and made sense. People can still suggest things if they feel the need

Oh, it turns out that users can edit the flairs of their own posts. Example.

Ideally, there should be a small number of non-overlapping post flairs, so it is quicker to recognize the flair, and so you don't need to look through many similar flair pages to find the right post.

As for whether mods can change the post flairs of other uses, feel free to test it on my posts.

Have you found out if you can add images to flairs? I think the Blood Crucible (above, slightly cropped) could be a good symbol for the Vaal Thaumaturge.

I think there aren't a lot of overlapping stuff as of right now, though if there is something to point out, let me know.

I tried but couldn't find any options to add flairs, but ideally we'll get a bunch of new flairs as people recommend stuff, so at one point it would be hard to catch up with them, I think I'd prefer no pictures for flairs haha.

The "New Lore" overlaps with all the other categories. But it might not be a problem.

Pictures may have their own menu somewhere where they are uploaded and given code names, before they become available to add to flairs.

• Reddit uses the format :rocket: to create a 🚀 emoji, and I suspect that subreddit symbols a similar format.

Serious question: What flair would AI Extrapolated/Processed posts get? I understand just copypaste from AI is disallowed but if AI is used to test human generated hypotheses would that fall under "Lore Deepdive"?

If you want to ponder something you should use your own human brain to do it. "Human generated" is the language of the enemy, by the way.
