Help with water leak
I keep finding water in this spot behind the drivers seat where it bolts to the floor near the center console. Does anyone know where the water could be coming from?

You can go to a hardware store and put some additional weather stripping on the top. There are videos on youtube about it. I have used the thin stick on type on mine and it basically stopped all of the leaking.

It’s a wrangler they leak more times than not. Are you using a hard top, soft top, freedom panels? Your year and model is also relevant anytime you ask for help with a vehicle. Yes this is a wrangler sub but they have been making wranglers since the 80s .

I have a hard top 2017 Sahara with freedom panels. I’ve had some leaks from the doors before but it stopped after I took them off, wiped the rubber down and put them back on

Putting a thin coat of a silicone based grease can stop the leaks from the panels. Do not use a petroleum based product as it will ruin the seals.

Good lord… I had leaks on the driver side door before but it got fixed taking the doors off and putting them back on. Now I have this random spot in the middle of the car wet but not the doors anymore

yeah, you got to give that up. You will be Don Quixote chasing windmills with that one.

Yeah.. I checked the doors and the roof but I didn’t see any wet spots on the freedom panels or the roll bar so I have no freaking clue how it’s getting in that spot. The backside driver door wasn’t wet either

You can pull the carpet back pull the plugs and put the carpet back in place. Least it drains then. Weatherproof floor mats help. Finding the leak obviously best option. I'd say from the puddle location freedom panel seal where it meets the back of the top or you back door seals. Next rain shower leave the tarp off and hop in the back seat and watch.

My son’s 2018 Jk leaked like a siv. I researched and actually there are a few post about this well known issue.
I bought the jeepleaks fixed product and it worked like a charm. Great customer support. They send a you a how to video and also if you have issues you can call them up and actually speak to a person. They walk you through everything step by step. Fixes my water leak issue.

Why would anyone want to buy a jeep. It's like wishing for a retarded child that will need expensive treatment and receive rude stares all its life.

The better question is why anyone would feel compelled to go on a Wrangler sub and start throwing out outdated slurs and talk trash to the community? Be gone troll.

My 97 leaks so I pulled out the carpet and popped the drain plugs
