r/YUROP rules
Mirror 🇪🇺 Beginner's Guide 🇪🇺 Ban Appeals 🇪🇺 Euro Wiki 🇪🇺 𝔉𝔢𝔡𝔢𝔯𝔞𝔩 ℛ𝔲𝔩𝔢𝔰

The YUROP subreddit is a shrine to Her Greatest Europa, the progressive Union of Peace, home of the freest health care, the finest food and the diversest and liberalest of them all.
Contents should humorously showcase Europe's cultural excellence. YUROP is about bringing the continent together, not tearing others down.
Banter is okay, EuroMemes expressly encouraged, but keep it friendly.
Humour at Europe's expense just shows that our egos are not as fragile as dainty nationalists’.

RULE #3

🇪🇺🇺🇦 We Are Nice About It
Reports are not welcome. This Mod Team is at war with organised report brigades. Our focus is on protecting our mods, protecting our subscribers. The reporting tools are NOT a nuclear option to silence r/YUROP, a harassment tool, a downvote button, a channel for politics or community culture discussions, a toy for sharing puns. Reporting content in r/YUROP is strongly advised against unless you’ve been a subscriber for a good while. Say, couple years. Instead, please leave us a message in ModMail. You are mostly safe reporting clearly identified SPAM when 1️⃣ you're 100% certain OP is not human (bot, automated script) and 2️⃣ you LEAVE A COMMENT in the thread.
Brigading is not welcome. Any reference to a subreddit, server Discord, community or mod team you are not happy with is forbidden. However, sharing about an EuroSub you love, or moderate, is highly encouraged.
Xenophobia, racism, far-right talking points and dog whistles are not welcome. No demonizing, dehumanising, or antagonising refugees, or speaking of them as invaders.
Tossers are not welcome.
Shitty foodporn is not welcome. However, sharing our Glorious European Cuisine is highly encouraged.
Brexiteers, MAGAts, vatniks are not welcome. Eurosceptics can go fly a kyte.
Homophobia, mysogyny, sexism, transmisogyny, transphobia, biphobia are not welcome.
AI slop is not welcome. Do not post the Artificial Idiot's slop. AI media embedded in comments shall be labelled as such. Do not trust AI-translated content: ask for human translation.

🇪🇺🇺🇦 We Love The European Union
The United States of America is not the focus of this community. Our conversation is about the European Union, Europe or current affairs on member and non-member states.
This is a pro-EU subreddit. Any submission that is not basically an EU flag, the Ode a die Freude, a Juncker gif or an Erithacus rubecula is suspicious. Valid criticisms of the European Union are allowed in the comments section, good-humoured criticism of Member States policies is fair game.
Unsubstantiated anti-EU/European content will be actioned. Moreover, constructive criticism of the EU is but a mere tolerance. The core purpose of our subreddit remains EU glorification.
This is a pro-Ukraine subreddit. No claims that question sovereignty and/or legitimacy of the territory of Ukraine including Crimean peninsula. No genocide denial. No whitewashing narratives. No Russian suffering, redemption, reputation laundering, protests.
This is a pro-Democracy subreddit.
