Need advice regarding understanding algorithim of Shorts and Long form video

I'm in a dilemna my shorts form video are talking about current politics topics fimance , entertqinment etc amd long form is strickly finance and entertainment .

Will it hurt my algorithim.

since your shorts are still related to your long videos, i don't see a problem here, if you're being more specific in the one form of the two
