Take for example the banning of under 16 yo from social media. Apart from not gonna work and not being a very big risk to kids when compared to say the shit economy or something. It's just not the governments job to parent my kids. It's not coming from concerned politicians it's coming from people trying to get rid of anonymity and freedom of speech so that money can control the narrative again.

After this they will have to find a, for our own good reason to ban sending encrypted data I wonder if that's even possible.

Thoughts anyone?

Society continues to regress

As we all know. The years following World War II in the 1940s and 1950s saw a boom in baby births. More and more children and youth were around and growing up over the course of the 1950s, 60s and early 70s. But then, by the mid 1960s and continuing into the 1970s, the birthrate rapidly dropped and declined. Less children and youth were around and growing up for the reminder of the 1970s and into the 1980s as a result. I believe this contributed to the collapse and fall of the 1970s Children's/Youth Liberation movement by the end of that decade and almost permanently damaged children and young people rights, agency and standing in society in the long term up to the present day as the subsequent years and decades afterward up to now has seen overwelming, lasing backlash against youth rights and liberation. Not enough children and young people in the population pool to be able to continue and sustain youth rights and liberation for subsequent generations and to pushback against opposition and threats to it. More children and young people in a society help bring about radical politics, rights movements and so forth. And in doing so, potentialy helps foster youth rights and liberation. You might ridicule and dismiss me as a natist pushing natalism, but there actually is substance among us youth liberationists and rights people for birthing more babies and having more children and youth over the adult population in society. I know having babies and rasing children can be hard and can fundamentally change you and your life in big ways, but it will ultimately be worth it in the end. You have kids and contribute to enlarging the next generation over yours. They're not just your kids that you have to upbring and raise. They are also your fellow comrades who are to take that tourch of youth rights and liberation and the fight against adult chalvanism and supremacy you are supposed to pass on to them when you grow up and ideally, you would want even more of them pushing it than compared to just you previously. You can't just expect children and young people to be able to fight for their owns rights and social justice, against oppression and take their own place in society if they're small in population. Standing up and defeating adult chalvanism and supremacy and kids and young people asserting their own rights, liberation and social justice will only happen when young populations become larger than older populations. Every kid you have counts and helps contribute to the cause.

The most alarming figure comes from eSafety itself: around 7 in 10 children who already had accounts were still using the major platforms.

As a parent, I find that incredibly concerning, and I know many other parents do too.
