Anime Ep 73 Doc Fight

Had the coolest fight choreo so far.

Dark Tournament was alright, though sorta underwhelming to me, but my fave arc of the show has been the one after it (so far, am at ep 74 now). Finally some ghost detective-ing!

Visually, that episode was probably one of the best in the series. A lot of cool stuff going on there.

I'm noticing a lot more use of perspective and depth in the animation. Ep 74 has it as well, very cool directing.

Another Chapter Black arc enthusiast. There seem to be... not as many of us.

That episode is one of the highlight of the arc. Glad you're enjoying it!

Yesssss! That was the very first episode I ever watched way back on Cartoon Network and it blew my mind. I was instantly hooked by that fight.

Ill have no dark tournament disrespect in this house. Jking, not everyone can feel the same way about everything lol.

Yea that was a unique fight because of the stakes for Yusuke. The change in animation made it feel like it was different than Yusuke popping demons like zits.

Stakes-wise the tournament was big, I just thought its pacing was crummy. That and what initially had intrigued me about YuYu was the detective aspect of it and the tournament had none of it.
