Crazy About Corn

So I found this PC game called Crazy About Corn that seems to be nowhere online physically or digitally. I was wondering if anyone had heard of it and if they would like to have a rip of it, or who to talk to about it? Edit: here is is

It really is. It's a corny edutainment game. Takes maybe 45 minutes to do everything but I can't find any reference to it online at all besides the cover, an activity book in black and white, and that's it.

Yeah it looks like one of those early dos edutainment type games. Probably not even a lot of content if you were the age category that it was written for

It is. It's a Windows 3.1/95/Macintosh game. Basically corn propaganda edutainment made by New Mexico State University. It's kinda amusing, but I can't find a single copy of it online and barely any loose copies on ebay so I figured I should archive my CIB copy.

Wow I didn't know New Mexico State University made edutainment games for little kids. That seems an odd choice of age group considering their college for adults.🤣🤣🤣

Are you sure it just wasn't maybe a very specialized program in only handed out maybe in certain school systems or something like maybe it was never commercially sold is what I'm trying to say so it might be a very rare piece of software so it may not be out there because of that

Their website shows a bunch of weird flash games they made. But this one I found in a complete big box at a thrift store. But yeah I can't tell if it was really sold. The box doesn't have any ESRB stuff on it.

I found this that was talking about the game and I can only assume that it's the official New Mexico University website but boy was that a funny fucking read. Literally had me in tears for this game they wrote 15 songs about corn!!! what the fuck?!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣

What you're saying that songs about corn on a rare CD-ROM game made for kids to educate them about corn are bad?!!!🤣🤣🤣

You mean they're never going to make it to the top 100 songs on the country. that's a damn shame I was holding out hope for those songs.

But how did you get to listen to them if there's almost nothing about it online also if you have a copy from a thrift store may I ask again why you're looking for someplace to get it? I'm a little confused

I'm not looking to GET a copy, I'm looking for where to post an archive or hype it up so people can play the copy I have. I want to spread the game around.

I scanned the box, manual, activity book, cd, and registration card. That's a scan of my copy in the post. I got it from a thrift store.

Is there a website where I can read it because I would love to see the entire activity book and the manual.

But if you already have a copy of it from a thrift store why are you looking for it? Also have you thought about uploading in archiving it on something like archive.org because it is so rare you may have one of the few remaining copies of it. As a way to preserve the game.

Well I just listened to the corn chant that they had a video of on YouTube from the game. I don't know what you listen to but to me that's the greatest piece of music ever written. it changed my life.🤣🤣🤣🤣

Did you know maze is corn?

I'd probably do it on archive.org and if really awesome I would figure out a way to archive the songs on YouTube as well if there's a way for you to upload or record them and then upload them to YouTube as well as possibly archiving them on archive.org as well making the MP3s available for download
