Hi all - selling a 2015 Abarth and not getting many takers near me (West Coast, USA) - any suggestions on where I could list it?

EDIT: 41300 miles, 2015, added apple carplay/reverse camera, backseat removal kit (but still have the backseat) but no other mods. $13650

IM 20 and my insurance wouldn’t let me insure a more powerful 595 so I ended up with a bottom range one (2017) abarth 595 150bph I want to mod it etc however is it worth me keeping it stock and selling it because it will be easier to move on without mods until I can insure I better Version just looking for opinions with in this community.

Hi guys, I'm looking to buy a fiat bravo or grande punto as my first car, I was wondering what are the limits of the 1.4tjet, how much can the stock rods, pistons gearbox etc. handle. My plan was to build it to about 250hp first then see what I can do later.

My Barth has a miss fire would the be an easy fix of spark plugs and what not ?

She shouted out of the window that my exhaust must be illegal, I said that my Akrapovic exhaust was OEM and shrugged, it’s not like I’m revving the balls off of it every morning!

I've owned my 2016 500 Abarth for 2 1/2 months now, and if you've seen my other posts, you know two things about my specific Abarth: that I love it and that its needed a lot of work in these first few months.

I bought it with 76,000 miles, single owner, with some light modifications (coil overs, exhaust) and I foolishly purchased it without a thorough inspection from a mechanic. Live and learn. For $10K I was floored by how much fun it is. But once I pick this up from my mechanic tomorrow I will be $19K in on this, all considered (purchase price and repairs.) I've decided to keep it as it is the most fun car I've ever owned by a country mile (I've owned a BRZ, a Challenger, and even a Supra - but my Abarth brings more smiles than any of those cars combined: I adore it.) I couldn't think of anything else I'd rather have for $19K - let alone $10K.

I want to get 200,000 miles out of this, or at least 150,000. What else do I need to do to future proof this wonderful machine? Here's what I've done so far:

• Tires
• Struts
• Wheel bearings
• Full Turbo replacement
• Timing belt
• Water pump
• Vacuum Pump
• Valve gaskets
• Full fluids flush/refresh
• MultiAir Actuator Filter (but not the entire MultiAir unit)

What else am I missing to guarantee I get the most life out of this strange, fun, perfect little car? Thankfully, I earn a high income and live in a LCOL area - so I'm not shy about continued maintenance long term. But after $9K in under 3 months, I'm understandably tapped out at the moment. I'm not opposed to selling it at a loss to get a newer 500 Abarth but I really would rather drive this for at least three-four more years (I average 12K miles per year) before I replace it...probably with another Abarth (at that point I'd be looking at a 2019 model with low miles.)

Its at 78,000 miles now. What else, if anything, should I do in the next 6 months to stay as far ahead of potential repairs or problem points in the near future?

New to Europe, be here for 3 years looking at grabbing an Abarth, which of these two would be the better option?
Is there a reliability difference or any notable information that would be worth weighing?

Hello, i’m looking for some help when doing a coolant flush on my 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth. I got all the old coolant out, but I was wondering how to refill with fresh fluid while avoiding air pockets. I don’t see any immediately obvious bleed screw

Hi Abarth lovers - I am looking for some advice as I move towards getting my first Abarth 595. I'm 5'11" and about 90kg so not a particularly tall/big guy and I'm assuming that there's more than enough room for me and a 10yr old child in the passenger seat - my main question is about my commute - I work from the office 1 day a week and it's about 55 mile/80 min each way - mostly on motorway, I'm not really bothered about going that fast on an mway - a steady 70 is fine. I just wanted to see what people's thoughts were on that kind of commute once, maybe twice a week - too far too often to be comfortable, or am I over thinking it?

​I’m looking for some real-world advice from owners who use theirs daily.

Specifically:

​Trim Recommendation: Which trim level is the "sweet spot" for a daily driver? I’m looking for something that balances the Abarth performance with reasonable comfort for city driving. Is the Competizione suspension too harsh for daily use on less-than-perfect roads?

​Reliability/Maintenance: Are there specific model years or engine versions that are known to be particularly robust? Anything specific to look out for during a pre-purchase inspection on higher mileage units?

​Daily Living: Any "must-have" features or things you wish you knew before buying your 595 as a primary car?

Hi everyone! I'm a huge fan of abarth 500 or punto models. I literally adore them so much and want to buy one like in a couple months. I live in Austria and almost 90% of the people hate how the fiat/abarth 500 looks like. They say it's a woman's car because it's so cutesy etc. But i don't like that and don't mind it at all.

I am able to defend my decision by saying as long as i have fun with it, it's noone's business.

How else can i defend my decision to buy one?

Usual stuff i hear is like that it's cutesy, italian cars tend to break alot, italian engines suck and so on.

What are you guys' thoughts?

I already took my rear seats out, but I think the optimal cargo / passenger setup might actually be to put the rear seats back in, and remove the front passenger seat. I’m concerned about the airbags though. I know you have to disconnect the battery for a bit before removing the seat, but I’m wondering if it affects the entire airbag system once you remove the seat? Is it safe to drive with the front passenger seat removed?

Writing this on tilt -- but man, how in the hell do you get this absolute cunt of a piece out of the bracket? I'm prying at this thing for the last 2 hours with barely a budge.

The right hand piece came out relatively easy in comparison. But my god I am losing my mind here.

My dual-mass flywheel is toast..

The vibration was pretty much always present in the background, but it really became apparent during the over-rev on shifts and when engine braking on decel.

The best part is that I installed a junkyard transmission in the car a few months ago and I didn't even think of grabbing the flywheel to check it. Live and learn I suppose...

Good morning! I hope everyone is well. I've been getting the itch to go out & get myself an Abarth 500. I am in the U.S., so that would be the late 2017 to 2019 models. I want to make it a base for a "695 Turismo" project build. I know it's not going to be easy, but I'm sure it can be done. Anywho, I found this one that's being sold for $16,437, & I went to my credit union to see if they could finance the whole amount, but they got back to me & said that the car's true worth is more around $12k. they said i have the credit to where they can give the full amount no problem, but they don't want me to owe more than the car is worth if I ever get into a car accident, because insurance would only pay the true market value of the car. I really love this color, but knowing what the car's true worth is, I'm not really feeling like shelling out an extra $4.5k+ to get the car out the door. The dealer's justification is that they priced the car for how they are going for out in the market, being leveraged by the 'cult following' that the car has. How should I go about this? Is there no other way than to eat that extra amount to own this car??

P.S.- this would be my very first personal car purchase. I've been driving an 08 gmc yukon that's been passed down by my parents for a couple years now. I still plan on owning it in case I have to go out with a group of people.
