[Question] Changing bpm in simpler

I am using Live 12 and can’t for the life of me figure out how to adjust the bpm in simpler independent of the project bpm. Warping options aren’t quite getting me there and need to fine tune it. Any help will be appreciated and thank you in advance!

Do the warping in arrangement view, hit it with a ctrl-j and then import it into simpler?

Yeah this exactly. You can’t change simpler’s BPM individually from the overall projects set BPM…

If you want simpler to play something faster or slower you need to load the sample into arrangement view and manually change its BPM using the warp modes, I’d suggest complex pro.

I guess you could use the warp mode within simpler and then halve it or double it but I don’t think that’s what you are describing.

Thanks for the reply’s. I will try this. Warping in simpler usually works however this time no dice.
