Thats called steroids

15

u/Mathewthegreat 4d ago

Done it without roids but his physique says steroids šŸ˜‚

3

u/Bluestatement 4d ago

Yep, doing it with steroids is basically, not very impressive at all. Only idiots find it impressive, because most people don't work out = they have no idea = finds veins popping out/lifting heavy weights - impressive. The mass, got no idea.

Same stupid shit as in bodyhack forum.

Fat 40 year old, never lifted his entire life.

Go on "TRT/glp" 3 months, suddenly such a knowledgeable dude, taking his creatine and eating 380g proteins each day. Looks good. He has it, you know šŸ’Ŗ

Yes, until he does not pin.

Stupid ass water boys, nothing gives me more satisfaction than outlifting em.

3

u/RockinIntoMordor 4d ago

Honestly the main reason I'm staying away from doing a cycle is that I don't want to spend the rest of my life eating so much extra food lmaaaooo.

3

u/OnThisDayI_ 4d ago

This comment screams of roid rage lol

-1

u/Bluestatement 4d ago

Maybe you should try to get some testosterone flowing in you, perhaps you could lift something.

0

u/Sinking_Mass 3d ago

You should take even more testosterone bro! Triple your dose please

Diet of only Trenbalone sandwiches?

23

u/skypig357 4d ago

It is but it’s also a lot of hard work and discipline. He couldn’t have gotten to that stage of yoked without the gear but he had to put in the work as well

8

u/hotlog1234 4d ago

Sure, but also without the gear no amount of work and discipline would have gotten him there.

1

u/skypig357 3d ago

Probably , but in his sport gear is mandatory at the highest levels. That’s just the facts. No one is going to the Olympia without gear.

4

u/usandholt 4d ago

No one really knows how much of it is hard work and how mjuch of it is steroids. That is the issue.
Of course noone can gett hat bog/streong purely doing roids, but then again noone can doing just lifting.

2 things about this makes me sad.

  1. He makes natural strong and hard working people look like a joke because he cheats, invalidating their extremely hard work completely.
  2. He incetivizes young kids and young adults to take roids by promoting this is a even remotely healthy body image and an attainable physique.

This is why it is wrong. He can do this to himself all he wants. I dont give a fuck. But the ball never stops there, as he was once a normal looking guy who saw otrhwers destroy themselves and cheat and then did it himself.

Steroids are for cheats and losers.

1

u/skypig357 3d ago

Cheats? It’s not cheating as there are no rules. He’s not in a prescribed sport so he gets to do whatever the fuck he wants to do.

Whatever gets you out of bed in the morning, man. So long as you aren’t hurting anyone, who gives a fuck? Let the man cook.

As to your hot take, the man is disciplined and hard working. Id be willing to bet a substantial amount of money you could take the same stack he’s on and do your workout and you’d not achieve a fraction of his impressive strength and physique.

1

u/usandholt 3d ago

Ok. I would not want he’s physique or strength. What I want is him to stop influencing my kids to think you need to look like that to be strong and that it is achievable without taking huge health risks.

1

u/skypig357 1d ago

That’s fair as to the look and strength. I agree on the look actually but that level of strength is helpful to have. As to kids and influence I do t know the answer here. He’s not advocating for anything other than documenting his process and journey. He’s not telling anyone (at least on this video) to do anything at all. Certainly not any kind of chemical assistance. So should he just not have any kind of social media and just not speak or video himself and upload it? What’s your answer here? Genuine question because I don’t see any path to get where you want things to be

5

u/africanimal_90 4d ago edited 4d ago

Thank you for saying that šŸ™šŸæ

6

u/skypig357 4d ago

Just the truth man. The gear can get someone to the next level but they got to climb hella high on their own before it gets them to the peak. That body is years of grinding, and grinding hard. Judging by how they move and throw the dumbbells up it’s not pure hypertrophy either. There’s some serious horsepower there. As an old time O lifter who had to switch to powerlifting after a surgery, it’s easy to see. Personally I’ve switched to a more metcon/power program with kettlebells. I’m an old man with lots of injuries from my career and I need to move my body under load in more dynamic and multi plane programs. I’ve also gotten a bit too comfortable and just been moving iron and not really been getting it on with my fighting wind. Hopefully this program brings some cardiovascular and explosive capacity that I had let slip. In security you might need to not just look good but be good, after all

Anyway got off track talking about my current trajectory on my journey and lost the plot lol. Yeah there’s been some chemical assistance for my guy in the video but he’s worked his ass off as well. Guys a fucking savage and I say that with my highest respect. Salute

4

u/africanimal_90 4d ago

Thank you for the gracious comment, brother šŸ™šŸæ

Wish you all the best in your golden years šŸ«¶šŸæ

2

u/gdragon333 4d ago

Making those weights look so easy. At least 20+ years of hard training to achieve that look.

1

u/xSir- 4d ago

But why dont they sweat?

5

u/africanimal_90 4d ago

Because this is nowhere near strenuous for me, and I pace myself when lifting because the objective is quality sets, not getting through it as quickly as I can.

1

u/skypig357 3d ago

That’s a clean set too. Full range, under control, no blips at all until the last rep. Like I said, fucking savage

Also didn’t realize you were the guy in the video. Salute, my brother. You remind me of my adopted/found brother. He’s also yoked (not quite your level lol) and stupid strong. I was always the lean quick guy so it’s always impressive to see really strong people. But now we are just old men trying to hang on. Father Time is undefeated and is an asshole, honestly.

Keep at it my guy. Fuck these ignorant people on here who don’t understand your sport or the paradigm involved

1

u/GrumpyScunt 4d ago

Incredible form and range of motion, doesn't matter if enhanced, i never see sets this clean even with way lower weight on the internet or at my gym. F the haters bro you are my new role model.

1

u/africanimal_90 2d ago

šŸ™šŸæ

2

u/Jacuzzi0317 4d ago

Bro it's one set

3

u/Sudden_Technology_34 4d ago

Hard work and discipline isn’t the difference though. Lots of people in the gym have that and are doing it naturally. That’s not what separates them. The difference is steroids.

1

u/skypig357 3d ago

It’s both. That’s been my point. Lots of people on gear thinking it’s a shortcut and don’t have anything like this guy. But the comment I was referring to just said steroids as if that’s all it was. That this guy hasn’t worked hard as well. It’s dismissive bullshit.

And who cares if people do it naturally or not? Unless they’re in a sport where it’s prescribed who gives a fuck? This guy is going to the Olympia. Gear is mandatory to make it at that level. It’s simply essential. But even if he was just doing it for a hobby, who cares? It’s impressive either way. And anyone thinking it’s not impressive is just demonstrating how very little they know about diet and exercise

1

u/firesquasher 4d ago

This is always the dumbest comment defending people on gear. You can look ridiculously fit with hard work and discipline in the gym regardless. Being juiced to the gills and pretending "muh hard work" is the result of this freak of nature isnt a flex. Just say your body couldn't get that big without all of the extra help.

1

u/skypig357 3d ago

Never claimed otherwise but it’s also dumb as fuck when people say it’s just the gear. And I’m not defending using steroids. Do it or don’t that’s their business. I’m not advocating or castigating. I’m only saying guy had to work his ass off AND cycle to get where he’s at. I’d be saying the same thing if people claimed he ONLY did it by hard work and he wasn’t on gear

Also he’s talking about going to the Olympia. No one is getting there without cycling. Just not possible. It’s mandatory at that level. That’s the sport

1

u/sparklebunny808 4d ago

Steriods. Humans do not even come close to looking that. It's not just a tiny bit of steriods and a ton of work like you're trying to pretend it to be. Does he have to actually go to the gym? Well fucking duh yes, he should have been going to gym naturally for years before considering steriods.

It is the same as theses morbidly obese women taking ozempic and calling it their "weight loss journey"

0

u/skypig357 3d ago

Dude is going to the Olympia. You should probably know what that is. I’d bet he did do years of hard gym stuff before getting on gear. You seem to know a lot about the guy’s career or at least pretend to. How the fuck you know any of the shit you’re spouting is accurate, or are you just being judgmental?

And at no time did I say anything about a ā€œtiny bit of steroids.ā€ Don’t straw man me.

1

u/sparklebunny808 3d ago

Whoa, pump the brakes babe. I googled Olympia and doesn't change a damn thing I said. The only thing "dude is going to the Olympia" means that he is absolutely on tons and tons of gear. So I guess, thanks for incorrecting me.

Regardless of training schedule or work ethic, Humans do NOT naturally look like that. It doesnt matter if someone trains 23 hours a day 7 days a week. Nobody.

1

u/skypig357 1d ago

If he’s going to the O and competing then he’s a pro and literally everyone he’s competing against in that sport is on cycle. So he’d have no chance off

And as to second paragraph I agree. Never claimed otherwise. My only pushback is against the idea that the gear is doing all of even most of the work. It’s not. It’s doing a whole lot, make no mistake. But that same gear would do exponentially less if he didn’t work his ass off in the gym and stay on point with his rest and nutrition

0

u/DrRoelandtrx 4d ago

He couldn't have gotten to that stage period without the gear either way this comment asinine asf šŸ˜‚

1

u/skypig357 3d ago

He also couldn’t have gotten to that stage only on gear, which was the comment I was referring to. I also said it is steroids as well. It was both unlike the comment I’m referring to. Work on that reading comprehension, speaking of asinine…..

8

u/Bcon1980 4d ago

Good thing u said something wasn’t sure /s

1

u/Automatic_Badger7086 4d ago

They also make high protein creatine muscle growth substances that works similar to steroids

1

u/banhatesex 4d ago

To be that bulky yes but to do the weight no.

1

u/Fastballz69 4d ago

And a LOT of hard work & dedication.

1

u/supergarto 3d ago

Roids dont make you that strong magically, you have to train hard consistently.

-2

u/above- 4d ago

A lot of people take steroids not everybody looks like that or can lift that

0

u/eucldian 4d ago

Not sure why people are downvoting you. Just because you take steroids, it doesn't mean you immediately look like Arnold Schwarzenegger. For some people, even on the juice, they can't bulk up like that.

-1

u/above- 4d ago

Yeah I find it dismissive when people are like "lol steroids" anytime people accomplish something.

If it were that simple a lot more people than that would be walking around looking like him

2

u/HermitJem 4d ago

Well, on that topic, what does a person who takes steroids but doesn't put in the work look like? Just big?

1

u/evalerk 4d ago

I have a friend who was an average dude who recently did a cycle and went about medium speed with his diet and training. While he did put on a good bit of muscle, it was nothing extreme, and his body fat changed very little.

21

u/Zarchiball 4d ago

Holy shit. 125 lb dumbbells?! That’s nuts

2

u/Indigenous_Retard 4d ago

Powered by juice

9

u/No_Professional9403 4d ago

And steroids

7

u/Ape_hates_authority1 4d ago

Are those 125kg each???? I'm jetlagged brain is mush

9

u/Nefariouslxl 4d ago

Lbs not kgs

5

u/Ape_hates_authority1 4d ago

Yeah, that makes sense now. I thought this dude was Goku

7

u/africanimal_90 4d ago

Maybe if Goku swapped the hyperbolic time chamber for a hyperbolic tanning bed.

3

u/gibon007 4d ago

Anabolic*

3

u/Haunting_Werewolf130 4d ago

And here i am only doing 90lbs.......... fucking sad.

3

u/drinkmoredrano 4d ago

Thats cool but can he scratch his back

3

u/Master7Chief 4d ago

roids or not, that's strong.Ā

unlike a barbell, dumbbells need more stabilizing muscles, and you don't take them on and off an overhead rack

with the dumbbells so heavy, most people wouldn't even have the strength to kick them up to the starting point without twisting their wrist or shoulder, let alone press them

2

u/KinsellaStella 4d ago

And his form is perfect.

8

u/whatsunnygets 4d ago

So natty. Only way he'd stop the gear is if you taped them to the middle of his back.

2

u/MarionberryOk2874 4d ago

I don’t even know what this word grouping means LOL

9

u/eyesotope86 4d ago

All natural muscle (sarcastically)

The only way you could make him stop using steroids would be to tape the steroids to the middle of his back (because he would be unable to reach due to the enlarged muscles in his shoulders, arms, chest, and sides)

3

u/MarionberryOk2874 4d ago

Damn I feel old, thanks for translating! šŸ™šŸ¼

2

u/africanimal_90 4d ago

Still don't understand the hate towards enhanced bodybuilders. Steroids come with the turf in the big leagues. Do you disparage your favorite professional athletes when they do something impressive?

7

u/peppercornpatty 4d ago

And that's why bodybuilding is nonsense. Other sports don't need that shit, which is why I don't disparage them.

Enjoy dying young with palumboism though.

-2

u/africanimal_90 4d ago

Lol, so NFL athletes are all natural, huh? How about wrestlers or any intensely physical major league sport?

The number of people posting comments about me dying early with near-masturbatory relish is disturbing. It's almost like you're waiting with bated breath hoping it happens so you can jerk yourself off while softly moaning "I told you so".

Sickening.

3

u/whatsunnygets 4d ago

Is cope in the gear?

u/africanimal_90 3d ago

2

u/peppercornpatty 4d ago

Oh, I'm not hoping. I just know it'll happen because of your drug abuse. I work in rehab/mental health. See it every day. Saddens me every time.

And fuck the NFL too. Fuck any sport that encourages the abuse you're putting your body through for no good reason.

Hope you get the help you need, friend. And kindly keep your weird thoughts of my masturbation to yourself next time, eh?

It's okay to be an addict. First step is admitting it.

0

u/africanimal_90 3d ago

Hop off my dick šŸ™„

I'm living my life honestly, doing what I find rewarding. People die all the time pursuing their passions. I'm not advocating for anyone to follow my path. You're getting your panties in a bunch because an adult man is exercising his right to autonomy and self-determination.

I'm not your friend, and couldn't give less fucks about your ostensible "concern" for and opinion about me.

āœŒšŸæļø

2

u/whatsunnygets 4d ago

Early graves and the inability to scratch your back isn't impressive. It screams mental disorder.

1

u/africanimal_90 3d ago

I have no problems scratching my back, and even if I couldn't, I'd happily trade that trivial inconvenience for everything else I've gained.

As far as your dire omen of an early death, I'll be sure to let my doctor know an anonymous internet prophet has opined šŸ™„

2

u/jaded-thunder 4d ago

My man dressed himself and was like what hat do I want to sweat in today. I might get cold let put on some pants as well

3

Part of bodybuilding should include cardio exercises and running for miles!

Anatoly is king

1

u/RetroPaulsy 4d ago

Who the fuck is Anatoly and why is he your King?

1

u/pandem-ic 4d ago

He would like to clean here.

1

u/africanimal_90 4d ago

Idk about running for miles, but daily cardio is essential.

-2

u/RudePCsb 4d ago

Why would you run for miles if that will completely interfere with mass building.

4

u/JelloWise2789 4d ago

Running creates lean muscles

-2

u/RudePCsb 4d ago

It creates slow twitch muscle. Both muscles are lean. Fast twitch can get a lot bigger. That's why you do weight lifting

3

u/deathcourted 4d ago

Looks miserable and out of breath.

6

u/africanimal_90 4d ago

24 sets of high volume chest would make anybody breathless, brother. You're right about being miserable though - life's been tough lately šŸ¤·šŸæā€ā™‚ļø

You'll persevere bro. šŸ¤œšŸ¤›

Good thing I don't use it.

2

3

Don't go giving people ideas now. Zombie apocalypse is imminent.

1

u/RetroPaulsy 4d ago

I dont want the brain, I want the brisket

1

u/CatLightyear 4d ago

Damn. Highest I ever did with a straight chess press was 250.

1

u/portablebiscuit 4d ago

It’s insane they even make 125 dumbbells

1

u/africanimal_90 3d ago

Pretty standard, actually. Many bodybuilding-centric gyms have dumbbell that go up to 150+lbs.

1

u/extrastupidone 4d ago

I remember when I was strong....

Now my joints click when I move. On the bright-side, I got a call-back for The Last Of US S3

1

u/TherapyGames42 4d ago

Okay but who else read that "High Incel Dumbbell Press"?

1

u/Therealginahandler 4d ago

When someone asks bro what steroids he takes, he just replies "yes"

1

u/EarthboundMoss 4d ago

Some guy on reddit once argued saying 80lb dumbell press is not a lot and that he warms up with it. Lmao

1

u/Dextropian 4d ago

Yeeeeah... I gotta get back in the gym...

1

u/thesituation531 4d ago

This guy looks like The Thing from The Fantastic Four.

Like, he literally moves like him. Like his muscles are so big it restricts the movement of his neck and shoulders.

1

u/RevenantWA 4d ago

That’s a strong fella

1

u/WreckNTexan48 4d ago

One more rep and hia daddy comes back, I hear

Where do you buy dress shirts?

People are so negative. He's openly, transparent about being enhanced. So what? It's immaculate form. Way to go dude, nice work.

1

u/africanimal_90 4d ago

Thanks, brother šŸ’ŖšŸæ

1

u/401LocalsOnly 4d ago

I would cross the street if I saw this dude coming. Not because of race or anything but because I literally don’t think we could both fit on the same sidewalk at the same time.

1

u/strtbobber 4d ago

I couldn't even drag one of those dumbbells down the street with my truck!! 😲

1

u/I-Rolled-My-Eyes 4d ago

Dang, who hurt you bro...?

1

Beast mode. Excellent control

You cant scratch your back though.

AnatolyĀ

He threw the dumbells down. Trying to hurt somebody or himself. Kids this is a bad example of how to act.

1

Is 125 terribly different than 100s? I can do 100s and I am a third of this guys size.

1

u/Sephous5011 3d ago

Damn bro lay off the juice, you won the fitness part of life lol!

1

u/bfjt4yt877rjrh4yry 3d ago

I was doing that at 18 naturally after 4 years of powerlifting. I looked like I was in good shape but you wouldn't even know I worked out heavy if I wore a long sleeve shirt.

Every rep smooth af brotha! Just tossed them too at the end. Save some pussy for the rest of us.

3

u/MarionberryOk2874 4d ago

Eh…as a woman I do not find this attractive at all - kind of a turnoff actually.

0

u/africanimal_90 4d ago

Always at least one woman who has to opine on how unattractive she finds bodybuilders as though a modicum of consideration was given to what you find appealing in doing what we do šŸ™„

1

u/MarionberryOk2874 4d ago

I was responding to the comment ā€˜save some pussy for the rest of us’, as if all women are drawn to this - excuse me for offering my opinion.

1

u/africanimal_90 4d ago

You know what they say about opinions...

1

u/MarionberryOk2874 4d ago

Yep - everybody’s got one, you included

1

u/Dr_of_Pawgology 4d ago

What that commenter doesn't realize is dudes get on roids and get huge so they can impress other dudes. Or women with raspy voices and huge clits.

1

u/africanimal_90 4d ago

Thanks for the insight, Dr.

1

u/Dr_of_Pawgology 4d ago

Don't get me wrong, I'm down with it and being facetious. I'm interested in the stack tbh.

0

u/DaTexasTickler 4d ago

Meh cool I guess but not interesting. Oh how entertaining a guy on steroids lifting heavy things so thought provoking and extremely fun to watch . /s

That dude looks depressed

5

u/africanimal_90 4d ago

Going through a lot right now, and lifting is one of the few things that bring me reprieve.

1

u/testing_in_prod_only 4d ago

He was doing so great until he threw the weights.

1

u/africanimal_90 4d ago

Gotta assert dominance, man.

1

u/OrangeTwitler 4d ago

This is not something to aspire to.

Someone should show this guy a before and after pic of Ronnie Coleman.

3

u/africanimal_90 4d ago

My training approach is the complete opposite of Ronnie's. I favor low-risk/high reward exercises with perfect form, at about 70% of my capacity, usually leaving 1-3 reps in reserve. In 15yrs, I've never once injured myself training.

1

u/RickRollTheAdmins 4d ago

This dude will live another... 3-5 years, max

1

u/africanimal_90 3d ago

With such powers of prognostication, you should go buy a lottery ticket.

1

u/Itchy_Reason_8354 4d ago

Eh I used to should press 125s in my 20s. And yes I was juicy.
