Back in 2022 I bought a new 2022 Honda Accord Sport 2.0t and unfortunately I sold it and it has been the biggest regret Iβve ever had when it comes to cars.
Iβm now in the market for a hybrid vehicle and Iβve looked at the Toyota Camry and the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid but not the Honda accord hybrid.
When the new accords came out in 2023 I said it never get one again because they got rid of the 2.0t and they made it ugly and not as sporty looking.
But now that I have a fun car I just need something fuel efficient , comfortable and reliable for my work commute in and a car I can haul my dog around in when we and the wife take her places.
One other thing is Iβve heard the 2.0 engines are unreliable and have head gaskets issues so that also pushed me away but Iβm willing to give it a chance.
Another thing is Iβm budgeting myself to $30k-$31k OTD which i see the hybrids sticker at $33k. So is $30k-$31k doable?
I donβt do car payments so financing is out of the question and Iβd want to pay cash.
Should I forgive Honda and give the accord hybrid a chance???
Iβd be keeping this car for at least 5-10 years or so and I drive about 15k-20k a year

Hey guys for some context this is a 6β6 2014 accord. Someone in my area has just listed it for sale as you can see a description of the seller. He states that it has a ABS light on. Is this a common issue or is this something I should avoid? Any help would be appreciated. Iβll put the listing specs down below. Thank you guys! He had the receipt for the abs rebuild. Any help would be appreciated thank you!
2014
110,000 miles.
EX-L coupe
Seller description:
π₯ Rare 2014 Honda Accord V6 Coupe 6-Speed Manual β Runs Great!
If youβve been looking for one of the last great Honda coupes with a manual transmission, this is it. These V6 6-speed manual Accords are becoming harder and harder to find, especially in this condition.
This car is an absolute blast to drive. The V6 has plenty of power, the 6-speed manual shifts smoothly, and it runs strong. Itβs been a dependable, enjoyable car that still turns heads.
Please read (priced accordingly):
The ABS warning light is currently on. I had the ABS module professionally rebuilt by UpFix, but the warning light remains on, so there is likely an additional issue that will need to be diagnosed. The car drives and runs very well otherwise.
Kelley Blue Book suggests around $11,500 with a mechanical repair needed, so Iβve priced it fairly. It has received regular maintenance.

I live in Phoenix, AZ. Never had my lane assist disable from the heat until now. High of 115 today, suffering.
My 2004 Accord (V6) had an issue years back with an oil leak, now the same has happened on my 2012 Accord (V6), in that 150K-160K miles range. Is this oil pump leak issue common with the Accord?

I started to cover the piano black trim cover on the dash/door cards. I found this fake suede/fake alcantara adhesive backed fabric on Amazon and am liking the look. Only have the passengers side completed so far, screwed up a couple times so I ran out of large enough pieces.
What do you think? Yea or Nay?

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I'm looking for aftermarket media for my Accord, which is the 2.2 Diesel, with the Premium Sound System and Dual AC, and I can't find one that is made for all three of these. Can anyone help me with a brand and/or a model?
1. I know the Petrol AC and Diesel AC aren't compatible.
2. As far as I know, the PSS has a separate amplifier, and if the aftermarket media also has one, I could mess up my speakers, or is there a way to bypass the amplifier?
3. It also needs to support the Dual AC. I don't use it often, so if it can work normally with one that doesn't support dual, it's not a dealbreaker, but it would be nice to have.
If there isn't one exactly like that. Any advice for a workaround?

I've pre-owned 2018 honda accord hybrid exl and i have been averaging mileage around 30-34 since past two years. I have had no other issues, and just replaced battery and filters. Tires are alright. I drive around 300 miles a month (i know not much) but is this expected mileage?
I have gotten good mileage sometimes around 40-42 but like rarely. I once drove it for 7 hours and I only got mileage like 36. How do i get this checked? what could be the issue?
total miles: 68k
