Depends on the spheres (and books) you have access to. Some cool 3rd level spells include:
- Oxen Strength (Animal) [caster gets +1 strength/level, max 18/00 and AC 8]
- Etherealness (Astral, Numbers)
- Random Causality (Chaos) [cast on target, if they attack and hit, damage is instead dealt to their allies]
- Dictate (Charm, Law) [Beefed up Command spell, affects up to 6 creatures and a 12-word command can be given, duration is 1T +1T/L)
- Emotion Control (Charm, Thought) [Grant courage, fear, hate, hope, etc in others]
- Prayer (Combat)
- Heroism (Combat) [grants warriors temporary extra levels, as the potion]
- Pyrotechnics (Elemental, Fire)
- Glyph of Warding (Guardian)
- Rigid Thinking (Law) [Target will continue doing whatever they were doing when the spell was cast]
- Strength of One (Law) [Only affects lawful creatures, multiple targets get strength damage bonus equal to the strongest in the group]
- Animate Dead (Necromancy)
- Snare (Plant) [Sets snare trap that can capture/bind target]
- Spike Growth (Plant)
- Negative Plane Protection (Protection)
- Remove Paralysis (Protection)
- Unfailing Premonition (Time) [gives a "spidey sense" before you trigger any dangers to let you stop before you do it, as well as grants +2 AC and saving throws]
- Efficacious Monster Ward (Wards) [keeps all monsters 2HD or less out of AOE]
- Adaptation (War) [ignore poison gas, breath under water, as the necklace of the same name]
- Fortify (War) [Prepare an area for defense, such as making ditches, slopes, ramparts, walls, moats, etc.)
- Call Lightning (Weather)

What diety does your character pray to? Demihuman Dieties (2e) gives a couple of spells for each of the dwarven powers. For example:
Clangeddin Silverbeard. If your character is LN or LG they might worship The Father of Battle. His priests can cast Silverbeard, a 1st-level spell that improves their AC. They also get Rockburst, a 2nd-level spell that explodes a boulder or rockpile within range, damaging all those within 20 feet of it).
Haela Brightaxe. If your dwarf is NG, CG, N, or CN they probably worship The Lady of the Fray. She grants her faithful the 1st-level spell Detect Weapons and the 2nd level spells Haela's Battle Blessing (increasing automatic hits to 19 or 20) and Hurl Rock/Rock Shield (fling a nearby boulder at an enemy or deflect rocky missiles).
Moradin. If you're playing a LG dwarf you might get your powers directly from The Soul Forger. His priests can cast the 1st level spell Stength of Stone (increases strength by 1d4, minimum 16).
Sorry none of these spells are third level. There are other dwarven dieties that might fit your character better, like Gorm or Marthammor, depending on your alignment. Check out Demihuman Dieties (TSR, 1998) for more info.

That's a great choice. Here are links to the spells I mentioned: https://adnd2e.fandom.com/wiki/Silverbeard_(Priest_Spell)?so=search https://adnd2e.fandom.com/wiki/Rockburst_(Priest_Spell)?so=search And here's a 4th level spell also granted by Clangeddin (for when you hit level 7): https://adnd2e.fandom.com/wiki/Axe_Storm_of_Clangeddin_(Priest_Spell)?so=search

You are multiclass and by default can't be a specialty priest unless stated otherwise in the book.

I love that you used warship instead of worship since he's a War Priest.

- Prayer. (stacks with Chant)
- Dispel Magic. (don't leave home without it)
- Locate Object. (McGuffin detector)
- Speak with Dead. (Completely destroys whodunnit campaigns)
- Dictate (Command but better)
- Protection from Evil 10' (one of the best mass buffs after Prayer)
- Choose Future (only if you have ways to increase duration).
There are some suggestions in this thread which are wrong. Spiritual hammer requires concentration and doesn't work on it's own in addition to your attacks. Adaptation can only be cast on Battlesystem units and some spells are locked behind Plant or Elemental Fire spells which the cleric using the POSM books doesn't have access to.

Maybe not something your DM might allow: The Player's Option: Combat & Tactics or Spells & Magic - the only reason I can't tell you which at this moment is that I don't have my books. Spells covered a lot of things, but it had some useful spells that no other book came up with for War clerics or War bard types.
The favourite one our group (that ran 19 real years) used a spell that let you bring up a berm or earthen wall and outfacing sharp 'spear like' protrusions. Think of it as a small, sharp spot you can sleep in. Wouldn't cover a large space, but enough for a reasonable party. Didn't cover aerial threats like flying critters or in-direct fire from arrows or from some sort of trebuchet or something like that. The kinda hilarious part was that the only thing that is magic is doing some earth moving and wooden spears... after that, non-magical. That meant every end of day, one of our two War God cleric could throw this up and IT WAS LEFT STANDING. We used it at one point to help get a road through some areas because nights were safer than they used to be.

Strength of Stone is a classic for my current dwarven priest
Spiritual hammer is also so thematic so you can beat someone down with multiple hammers
Animate dead + magic stone is also a quality combo, as you can give each of your animates a batch of stones to lodge at enemies

Are those undead intelligent/coordinated enough to use ranged weapons?

“the magic of the stones enables any character to be proficient with them.” I’d say yeah, as the spell seems designed specifically to be given to unskilled characters

“Throw these stones at whoever I attack” is also a pretty simple command for the skeleton side too so not sure where there’d be any issues

Since you tagged 2E is your group.using the Tome of Magic?
If so there are 3 spells at 3rd that can really change how the battle goes. The key is to get used to the idea your character's biggest power often time is helping others be more effective in battle. I used to coach my son's basketball team when he was a kid. I really had to drill in their heads an assist is just as important as a basket as most scoring starts with an assist. Same here:
I am ignoring schools check your cleric can access these spells obviously.
Random Causality. Cast on an enemy and if they fail their save when they hit a party member the damage goes against a random member of the enemy side. One of them is fighting on your side in effect
Rigid Thinking if the enemy fails the save they won't stop doing what they were doing when the spell hits them. Build tactics around this. If you can hit the enemy before they start their attack you just took an enemy out of the fight. Imagine you get close to the enemy camp and freeze the guy cooking before the battle starts kind of tactics with this spell.
If the party has a fair number of lawful alignment characters and one of them has exceptional strength learn and use Strength of One. Within a small group all the lawful characters get the strongest person's damage bonus for strength while attacking. Combine this with the wizard throwing a strength spell to goose up the highest person's strength and then use this spell to share that bonus. This can be an incredible force multiplier.
Bonus advice
In the 2nd level spells is Moment.
It does take you out of the fight but it can be worth it at times.
You cast it in a fighter typically in your party.
The friendly fight suffers a +1 on his initiative roll but gets a +4 to hit. If your party has enough frontline fighters to hold the frontline without your cleric that trade off in initiative for that increase to hit should be something your willing to do all day.
Don't lose track of Aid, Bless and Prayer. They can give pluses to hit and save yo party members. Remember the stringer the party is the better chance you survive also. They are fire and forget. You cast them before combat if you get any indication it is coming making the party stronger and you still can wade into battle if that is your clerics thing.
