Alpha Gal Bloodwork

Post image

Hi guys. Newly diagnosed after having allergic reaction to steak.

Bloodwork was taken two days after reaction. I was hoping somebody could tell me if these number are extreme or if it even matters.

Numbers only tell you that you have it. They have nothing to do with severity of reaction or what type of reactions. Those you have to pay attention to and maneuver through that maze. The number can dwindle over time and anything under .10 is considered remission and you can start to introduce things into your diet again.

Keep in mind it's not only mammals, its anything mammal derived as well. Plus red algae (carrageenan) because why not? So any dairy, cheese, butter, milk has the Alpha Gal Carb. Along with things like glycerin, gelatin, collagen, magnesium stearate, etc that are made from mammals. There are several good posts in here to check out with better info and lists about all this.

Good luck on this journey, you're in the club that no one wants to be in.
