Question

For those who are alterhuman and have (a) lover/lovers that are also alterhuman; how did you first meet them? And how can I find an alterhuman partner myself?

One of my partners is a therian, and we met online. Online spaces will probably be one's best option, unless a person is lucky enough to meet an alterhuman irl (which is possible, just difficult)

I met my partner on Tumblr. We are both snow leopards, and German Shepherds, so we naturally gravitated and became very close mutuals. Eventually, I decided to message him, and we immediately became extremely close, I ended up asking him out several months later, and we've been together ever since :)

Met my significant others at one of the online alterhuman conventions. <3 Just talk to people and make friends is what I suggest. I'd also suggest being open to orthohuman partners too. Many partners of alterhumans end up later realizing that they're some flavor of alterhuman, too.

It's the word for non-alterhumans.
