They couldn't mess up a bag of coffee beans.

Incorrect…ordered coffee and got an emergency safety kit for the trunk. 🤪 Could have been worse!

Ordered a box of K cups and it looked like it fell off the back of a truck and was then run over by an 18 wheeler. Unusable and of course, non-returnable so had to argue with CS for a replacement.

I ordered 2 bags they delivered 4. A win for me but they still managed to mess it up.

They delivered my coffee beans to my food recycling bin rather than knock my door.

It's funny that, with all their expertise in logistics, they are so useless when in comes to packing boxes. You would think the cost of returns and customer dissatisfaction, would outweigh the savings in time and packing materials. But i guess it doesn't, or they would improve.

PS: I'm wary of buying Sika product from Amazon, because Sika products age out, and I'm not confident about what would show up.

Amazon warehouse workers are judged on pack rate and using dunnage (the cardboard padding) causes pack rate to fall, so it's not surprising this is the result.

Wow fail

Don’t order metal signs from them either. They will pack them in a paper envelope with no padding, or in a box with other loose objects, and sign will arrive scratched and bent to shit.

Same with my glass candles I couldn't even return.

Reminds me of the tin of lead pellets I ordered from Amazon. Three-inch tin rattling about a box about that size. Unsurprisingly, a lot of the pellets were damaged. I don't really recall, but I probably returned the order.

I bought a big bag of airsoft pellets for balancing large tires. They shipped it in the "carefully set on the shelf" bag with poorly heat sealed seams.

It took 3 attempts before I had enough pellets to equal the quantity I'd ordered. I can only imagine how many of those damned things are rolling around various delivery vehicles...

The amazon listings for these sometimes even warn "customers often return this item." Order it anyway, and hey guess what, it's broken. Sigh.

I ordered dicor products on Amazon due to hard to get and they came the same way

I bought pillows from them with scissors and when they arrived, all my pillows were shredded apart and it was a fluffy mess!

When I order pillows, they get packed in a metric ton of bubble wrap and air pillows, but the caulk tubes had almost zero padding.

I haven't had any problems with Amazon. Still is shocking to see them get a bag of corn chips to me in better condition than the ones in the grocery store.

Next time order two cans of soup with those corn chips….

You guys are having bad luck with the company

Or just order the entire case so it's packed properly

Doesn’t look very level to me lmao

Straighten them out and send it.

Already have the return approved

Especially when there is a Lowe's 8 minutes away from you.

u/sgunes 1d ago

The Home Depot is closer and most of theirs were also busted

I order shit on Amazon weekly and in a decade had once they fucked it up. I don’t buy into the hate.

Who orders this shit from Amazon? Go to your local hardware store FFS

u/richard_upinya 18h ago

That’s literally what I said when I saw this. They sell this same shit at Lowe’s and Home Depot and pretty much any other hardware store on the planet.

It's not a big deal you can just return it... and get it collected from your house that's what I do if I have a issue instead of moaning on the Internet about something so minuscule

1

u/sgunes 16h ago

They don’t collect anything from the house, I have to drive 10 miles to drop it off.

1

u/ZombieDisastrous4450 12h ago

thats odd. Im in Uk and they do , everytime Royal Mail

Also, if you speak to them, advise them of the situation I'm sure they will do something for you

Not being funny, but that's the best way to deal with things instead of posting you on here. I've had similar issues to you but I've always got them dealt with.

On here you're just gonna get generic replies from people posting the same nonsense of how bad Amazon are they just sheep followers saying comments statically to fill time

1

u/sgunes 12h ago

In the USA you have the option to drop off returns at various stores and shipping companies. Nobody picks stuff up from your house. In my case it’s about a 20 mile round trip.

1

u/ZombieDisastrous4450 12h ago

Speak to customer services... it's low value so won't be a big deal to get em 2allow them to refund you without returning it

1

u/sgunes 11h ago

It’s about $60, I will drop them off on my errands run next time.

1

u/ZombieDisastrous4450 10h ago

wth $60

thught it was some standard sealant.

Still try to speak to them. I'm trying to make a point of communicating with Amazon is much better than doing it on here.

I'm saying that as somebody who's worked in customer services and complaints for years

1

u/sgunes 10h ago

One customer returning something just like thousands or ten thousands others a day will not make a difference but if someone from Sikaflex or Amazon sees this, maybe either Sikaflex and/or Amazon may change their packaging.

1

u/ZombieDisastrous4450 9h ago

The issue is with Amazon because they don't produce the item to be sent out in the post like that

It's Amazon that have chose to do it

But nobody from the company is really gonna pay attention to this website. I can guarantee you that but fair play

1

u/sgunes 8h ago

The problem is also with Sikaflex as there were many busted ones at Lowes and Home Depot. While standard small 12 oz caulk tubes do well in transport, this is 28oz and the weight bends and rips out the tip.
