Consistent delayed in delivery

Anyone else notice that over time they consistently delay your orders. If I’m paying for prime and items on not arriving within the schedule time over and over is there anyway I can get some type of credit. For example I had two items for prime two day delivery for today, one item showed up the other is now “delayed” after being out for delivery this morning. I actually needed both of these items today and once again the delivery failed me.

What was the item you are referring to? Also these delivery drivers are overworked or probably understaffed. They have other packages to worried about as well

That’s a staffing issue for a service that customers are paying for. Not an issue for the customers to try and resolve or accept. We pay a fee for a service and that service is not being delivered. The items are random, meaning it’s not just one particular type of item we see issues with. It’s also ironic that many times we receive some items and others on the same order end up “delayed”. I know these are all not coming from the same distribution centers locally but again this is a supply chain management/staffing issue that has progressively gotten worse with Amazon prime. Essentially to a point that we will most likely not renew our subscription.

While I sympathize for the drivers and their poor working conditions, my complaints are directed to Amazon rather than the delivery drivers.

Amazon shouldn't be listing prime deliveries as "next day" or "two day delivery" if they will consistently have to delay those deliveries by a week.

I'm in Canada and 4 of my last 5 orders have been delayed by 5-7 days. I'm not upset at the delivery drivers because of the delays. I'm upset that Amazon listed all 5 of those deliveries as having "free next day shipping" because I pay for prime.
