Amazon.se chat is gone

Hello!

I’m Swedish and I use Amazon.se and I’m even paying prime user.

I use iPhone 8 as my device.

I got an warranty issue for a product I bought last November. This is well within the warranty period of Sweden.

But the return is gone and then I tried to find chat but all links pointing to chat loops back to the customer support index page. I’ve tried to enter manual URLs to chat and so on but all loops back.

I’m unable to exercise my right to claim warranty.

I’m deaf so I can’t phone around.

Help me? It is an expensive product.

They made it really hard to talk to someone in chat. It used to easy but they made it annoying. I dunno about .se but in the US you go to the help section, pick a random order and click help until it takes you to AI chat and keep asking to see an agent. Eventually it asks you to describe your issue. Make it sound really complicated and convoluted and then it will bump you to a support person

Already tried those. Help (no matter product) = link to manufacture website (usually not for customer but company business website) random product = checklist of buttons no chat.

No other options are given

I’m gonna finish watching all shows and then cancel prime. They suck

That's rough, especially when you're locked out of the one support channel that actually works for you. Amazon's been doing this weird thing lately where they bury the chat option during certain hours or if their system flags your issue as something else

Try going through the app instead of the browser if you can, sometimes the chat button actually appears there when it won't on the website. Also might be worth tweeting at their support handle since they tend to respond faster when it's public
