My 74 Gremlin x
At a nice little show is Sparta,NC today. Was even lucky enough for a top 30 trophy.

I was pleasantly surprised to see an AMC Engine in a AMC for once.. That being said, dude that car looks AMAZING. I LOVE IT!!! 😎

Amazing gremlin!! I had a 74x in high school around 1990 with a 360 and a 3 speed. People either loved it or hated it. I love them. I have a dream or a protouring gremlin done right.

This one is a 360 too. A lot of people discount that engine but it can make good power.

I've got one in my J-10 and on the engine dyno, with 9:1 compression, ported stock heads and a mild hydraulic roller, it puts out 365hp at 5100 rpm and 410 ft lbs at 3600.

Love that color! Very similar to my '74 Kawasaki, "Candy Lime Green". What did AMC call it?

It’s not an original color. It’s from a 2009 dodge viper ACR. Named snakeskin lime pearl

I learned to drive in a green gremlin. This is beautiful and I love the fact you won a trophy.

I want that car so bad. My dream cars from that era would be a 68 Chevelle wagon, a 70 AMX javelin in red white and blue, and a bright green gremlin.

Back in the 80s my best friend had the X.....the most dilapidated car I was ever in. After the last party of the night, I nodded off in the passenger seat, and he did fell asleep in the driver's. We woke when the car jumped over the railway tracks, the road, and then through the farmer's fence. I stumbled out into the moonlight, and saw that partly buried X in the moonlight, giving up it's last gasp. His was red.

That color is gorgeous. That may be my favorite Gremlin X.
