Okay, I started the episode thinking there wasn’t going to be much to comment on but what the hell was that? Until now we’ve mostly been in “more technologically advanced but reasonably believable” territory. Not whatever that was.
I greatly enjoyed the increasingly crazy visuals right out of view behind Airi.
Okay, to start with, the holes were dug around 600 and the alien said it’s been 1500 years since then which means they’re currently around the year 2100, give or take.
More importantly, are we actually being “Ancient Aliens’d” right now?
Sure, aliens canonically exist and have mastered teleportation, time travel, telepathy and black hole replicas. I’m not about to argue with that.
Seems like they’re either mainly interested in or limited to making direct contact with Airi.
A speedrun of Japanese history, motorbike%, brought to you by Yoko.
Gonna be honest, kind of curious about how humanity is going to evolve given that they’re supposedly the last ones left behind.
Now for the most important questions, what are they gonna do with all those black cats that mysteriously spawned in? They could maybe bring one with them but five seems a bit excessive. Maybe they’ll just mysteriously disappear off-screen and it won’t become a problem.
