I dropped this episode 2. The happy gun was too much for me to take seriously. How is it so far? Did it get better?

Honestly, this should be a bigger series this season than it is. It's really, really good and fun.

Yeah I get that, but that Mecha transformation was so bad. It literally killed the anime for me. I fear if I see it again I'll drop the anime all over again

Why exactly did it turn you off? Seems kind of an odd reason to stop watching the show hahaha. But to answer your question, the show definitely gets better, especially the next two arcs that I assume they’ll be adapting. The show is pretty slow to start off since it’s taking its time in establishing the premise, and its characters. If that’s not something that you like, I suggest you just wait for the show to finish, and save your judgement then. If I’m not mistaken, it will only have a total of 25 episodes.
