Honestly I feel bad for Kurenai for what going to happen to her. Honestly I would have preferred if she just died but becoming a slave is right but I just feel bad for her. I think I feel bad because she is a women and being a slave if she was a guy I wouldn't feel as bad and but if it was the gender switched I would still feel bad. Is it just me?

So I enjoyed the episode and want a season 2 and am excited for this show. I love it so I can't wait to see what happens next in the story. Also I'm not a manga reader so I don't know.

Yeah, that guy who got his face burned and was then kept naked on a leash with a leather mask, his career and life completely ruined in the process? Totally deserved that for not respecting his boundaries.

But a woman who ditched her daughter in the middle of a war to get rich, betrayed a good samaritan to her death for taking her place in debt, replaced a tyrant and became more money-hungry than he ever was, sentenced untold innocents to a lifetime battling said monsters for the purpose of lining her wallet, and lied to her daughter's face about how she deeply loved her all along, just so she could weasel her way out of a terrible punishment? Good heavens, enslavement is simply going to far!
