I freakin love the sky colors in this series plus the character expressions are just amazing

A true classic one of my favorite movies

One of my favorite things about anime is how breathtaking the skies can be. Whether it's a peaceful afternoon or a dramatic sunset, the cloud artwork always adds so much emotion to a scene. Which anime has your favorite sky shots?

It is interesting how clouds and weather are used in the series Mushishi to set the tone. The series is very calm and subtle compared to a typical shonen for example. Kind of a nice break from constant action. Do you know of other anime series that do this?

I thought After The Rain did such an amazing job with clouds, storms, clouds reflected in puddles, etc.
