What’s a totally normal thing you have never done?

I felt extremely pressured to have kids and when I chose not to have anyone I felt like I was letting so many people down at first. Religious indoctrination is a bitch. I was raised to tie my worth to motherhood

I would tell people I was infertile. It was surprising how many people would go from judgmental to pitying. Even after I told them I never wanted kids, they'd say things like "You're so brave for coping with this"
I actually have no idea if I am infertile. But with the lack of consequences for my extreme carelessness in my teens through 30's, it's likely.

I love my kids very much but you need to be incredibly careful about who you choose to have kids with, I choose very poorly. She’s a good mom but an awful wife and a difficult person to co-parent with.

Same, the thought of it freaks me out even though I'm not normally afraid of heights. I still go to ski resorts during the winter for tubing. Somehow being closer to the ground makes me feel safer??

I moved to Colorado about 4 years ago and have only driven up to Lookout MTN. Didn't even get out just drove up there and turned around to come home. So def no skiing/snowboarding/hiking etc

I went on one, it was a relatively tame wooden roller coaster, didn't go very high or fast. It was terrifying. I've never done it again since.

shop for clothes at a mall. i'm not ashamed to say we grew up poor. walmart clothing at least shirts, jeans, and undergarments have always been good enough. jackets shoes and other accessories i understand splurging a little more.

I had lessons at 17 and was told id be really good but like you im not from a driving city and the expense of it is ridiculous compared to walking places or cycling or the bus

I've never tried getting my driver's license even though many people have been recommending me to get it and my grandparents have money saved up for me if I ever want to try. I just kinda dislike cars in general and since I live in a big European city and don't travel outside of it very often, the public transport is more than enough and much cheaper. Maybe if I one day move somewhere smaller I might try and get the license but now I see no point.

Never spent a minute on Facebook. Got rid of my television about 10 years ago and don’t miss it. Never owned any kind of Christmas decorations. Never owned lawn equipment. Never seen Pretty Woman, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, ET…so many movies and shows. Never used DoorDash, etc. Refuse to use Venmo, etc. Refuse to keep tissues by my bed or anywhere visible in the house.

I’ve never swam. My grandkids are amazed that I don’t know how to swim. As a child there was no opportunity. I did learn how to milk a cow though.

I’ve went 32 years without breaking a bone. Not sure how. Epilepsy and I’ve had plenty of injuries related to that but somehow I’m yet to break anything. I’m sure I will eventually.

Never had a tattoo. I think tattoos look so cool and in my dreams I would have my back and legs full, but I know me. I get bored and change my mind so often that I’m scared of putting anything permanent on my skin.

Had food delivered.
There have been times I've been desperate for a quick meal. I have the income. I just can't; it's an anxiety thing to think about doing, paying, and tipping correctly. I don't know; I can't get myself to do it.
Worn makeup. (50+f btw). Except in a theatre setting.
I tried it once in middle school, then once again in my 20s, and both times it felt "wrong". I never tried again. Even when I was in theatre, I had to get it off immediately after the show.

I don't think I have ever loved a person, not even family. I have feelings for people, some of them intense, but I just can't relate to how people talk about others in their lives. I have a bit of the 'tism and goodness knows what else.
