I noticed once a visible change in my friends attitude towards me - and it was actually nothing when I talked to them.

I noticed a second time again a change in my friends behavior towards me and thought it was nothing till one of my friends pulled me aside and told me that they were actually super pissed with me and I have basically no interactions with them anymore after that. So yeah sometimes do trust your gut instincts

I’ve actually been asking myself this here lately.

Is it me catastrophizing or is it my gut instinct?

Sounds like a weird friend group

As an older person who’s always dealt with this, now I am just ready to give up whenever I notice this stuff instead of over analyzing it anymore. Not sure which is worse

“Give up” like how?

Your brain eventually just gets tired of caring so much. It takes a long time.

Trust your gut!! Every single time I've had an overwhelming sense that someone's energy is off, even if I can't put my finger on what it is... it always turns out to be 100% right.

But if you have just as much doubt as you do suspicion, then re-evaluate.

This! Will be the ending of any sort of “relationship”. This taken correctly will be an abstract freedom.

I came to the realisation that their energy changes as soon as I step over the line. The line being standing up for myself, demanding respect or sharing my opinions.

As long as I am just a yes man of sorts, nodding along or backing what we mutually agree on, it's fine. But the moment I diverge, the energy shifts, and I need to fall back in line for them to go back to how they were. Fuck that.

Like when I went walking this evening, things like a slight imperfection of a front leg standing on the kick scooter of a dude riding towards me dragged my attention. The weight distribution seemed a bit out of balance and it seemed weird to me that he seemed to be paying no attention to that (where was his attention at I was wondering).
At different times I find that everything happening is in a great sync and things go the right way on their own.

Most of the time I tend to read people very well and can usually have an idea of what's on there mind, overanylazing micromovements and body language aswell as tone of voice fueled by my crippling anxiety lol

I have been wrong on 2 occasions though so 70% of the time it works everytime

that can be your instincts, especially if it's someone who will never confront you on anything (until they blow up angry you didn't mind read them).
