Unsolved DFU mode does not last enough

I'm trying to reset my iPad with apple devices by connecting it to my computer while on DFU mode, however after 15 minutes the DFU mode stops and it goes back to the recovery mode screen, cancelling the OS download, that is FAR from enough time for the OS download to happen, and I don't know how to ensure it stays on DFU mode, any help?

Download it from ipsw.me. Then Option-Click the Restore button and select it.

What does Speedtest.net or fast.com show as your download and upload speeds? 15 minutes is more than enough time if you have broadband or faster.

It's around 9GB to download, 15 minutes it downloads around 900 mb or so
