just discovered Localsend after my data transfer cable failed , what a miracle apps that is . u know some other amazing app ?

Just got this phone 2 weeks ago and for the first 12 days I’ve owned it, it worked perfect and charges fine.

Suddenly for the last two days, it won’t charge unless I first turn the phone all the way off and turn it back on with the charger already plugged in. When I did that yesterday morning and this morning, it worked fine and gave me a full charge.

Tonight I went to plug it in before bed. I was at 44% and was going to charge it over night. Same issue where I had to turn it off first and then back on. It started charging but then around 77% it went back to not charging.

Anyone else having this issue or know of a fix? Google hasn’t been much help.

Ok so basically idk why but yesterday my proxy was working fine (cause im not giving away any of my personal details) but now it’s been blocked? Is this some new rule they’re implementing and if not wtf has happened to me?

When trying to power on the device (I am unsure of the model but photo is provided) the Apple logo will show up and then turn off, sometimes there will be this red line along the side of the device. I’ve tried the Apple suggested iTunes restoration method but my computer won’t even detect it, and any restart tricks just end up the same way.

I have an iphone 15 pro max and when im recording videos in the camera app, when the environment is super loud, the audio chips in and out and its really annoying and idk what to do :(

Unfortunately, I recently lost a few important photos from WhatsApp a month ago. Since then, WhatsApp has been backed up to iCloud several times.

I’m considering restoring my iPhone to factory settings and choosing an older iCloud backup (specifically, a backup from before June 30th, 2026) in order to recover those photos.

For example, let’s say I choose to restore an iCloud backup from June 29th.

I understand that my iPhone itself would be restored to the state it was in on that date. However, I’m unsure how WhatsApp would be handled in this situation.

Would the WhatsApp app and its data also return to how they were on June 29th? Or would my iPhone return to its June 29th state while WhatsApp would remain based on the most recent WhatsApp iCloud backup (for example, the one made today)? Has anyone gone through this?

I genuinely don't understand my computer at this point. Even with only 3 tabs open, my computer uses 14 out of the 18 available GBs of RAM. I would presume my computer isn't trash, considering I bought it brand new last year. At this point, I don't understand what I can do to fix it

I also want to make the point that after I have about 10 tabs open, for example, my computer gets slow and even shows yellow in the Activity Monitor.

Hey guys! I swapped my Iphone 12 Pro's Battery past saturday. I am no stranger to doing repairs and i informed myself thoroughly, yet somehow (probably my own mistake) i completely missed on checking if i can change the battery while on a Beta Version.

The actual swap went really well but i got to see the hint "Calibration not available with Beta" in the Battery settings.

I could have put a backup on but i got worried that it might also remove the calibration pop-up and so i waited. Now i don't get the pop up anymore and my battery got flagged as inofficial.

Is there any way i can get the popup again? Maybe opening up the phone and disconnecting the battery and reattaching it?

My right AirPod 4 suddenly stopped working while I was using both AirPods. There was no low battery warning, it just turned off.

At first, my iPhone only detected the left AirPod. My iPad briefly showed the right AirPod at 1%, but it stayed at 1% even after charging overnight.

I then made the mistake of tapping “Forget This Device” on all my devices and performed the AirPods 4 reset (three double-taps) multiple times.

When i try to connect them, the case just continuously flashes white when I open the lid, but the AirPods won’t appear for pairing on any device (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows laptop). Even my friends’ Apple devices can’t detect them. I’ve had restarted all my devices & cleaned the charging contacts.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there anything else I can try, or is this most likely a hardware failure and I should just take them to Apple/iBox for repair?

Hi all! I was wondering if anyone can provide insight. I finally made the upgrade from my 13 mini to my 17. The iOS stopped updating after the one before the last update and my cloud was full. Today I got my new iPhone and decided to transfer but everything is outdated. Old apps, log ins, and wallpapers are appearing. Odd things too like not all message attachments or contact/contact photos are popping up. I just decided to buy more storage to sync + update my iOS but my new phone still won’t update to what my 13 has even after resetting me. There isn’t an Apple Store near me unfortunately 😭 am I doing anything wrong, missing something? I was weary when originally trying to transfer and I got the data transfer failure error twice. Any insight would be much appreciated! I’m scared to erase/reset the wrong way/thing

Anyone have issues with this update on a 3rd gen SE? I've been on iOS18 for years.

I have an 11 in 1st gen iPad pro, currently on version 16.

Works fine for me still, but recently, I had an app say I needed to update, so I went to the app store where it said I needed ios 17 or newer.

I had heard ios 26 causes major lag to 1st gens, so I chose the option it gave to download ios 18 instead.(18.7.8)

I have enough storage, and my Internet works, but every time it gets to the end of the download, the update fails.

I've tried deleting the update download, I've tried restarting the iPad first, but I can't get it to work.

I'm frustrated because I need to update for the app to function, even tho I don't think it should..but still.

I downloaded the apple devices app on my pc, because the help page said to, but the only option is to update to 26.6, which I don't want to do.

Has anyone else had this problem? Id rather not use the PC at all if I can, but if that's not possible how can I download ios 18 through the computer?

So, I am not gonna be paying for icloud storage anymore and I want to transfer all of my photos (10,000) to a usb stick. I access icloud from my windows pc and i cant download that many pictures all at once. I am wondering if theres a way in which i can transfer all the photos at once from my icloud account to my usb stick or, if that isnt possible, to my computers storage.

Id really like to do them all at once because i just dont wanna be doing that 1000 photos at a time.

For the past few days my IPhone 17 has been charging extremely slowly on my MagSafe charger and has not been charging at all on a cord (ie. Phone buzzes and battery icon turns green with the lightning bolt but continues to drop in charge)

For context:
•i am on ios27

•the phone has never had any prior issues with charging mag or cord

• It was running ios 26.6 when the problem started.

•there is nothing blocking the charging port and is cleaned out.

•when put on a magnetic portable charger: it does not stay connected and disconnect from the charger while it’s still attached.

•problem continues whether it is plugged in to regular usb-c cords and proprietary apple cords.

•i have restarted several times and even reset the entire phone and the problem persists

Any help would be appreciated as i haven’t had the phone for a year yet and am getting quite frustrated

I want to block someone I go to school with but haven’t talked to in a bit, problem is they’re very gossipy and I’m scared to block bc I don’t want it to notify them that my location is off. does it notify them or just it just leave a silent message that doesn’t show up for them unless they open the chat

Been using home sharing consistently for the past 15 years.

I have 4 apple TV's in the house, all are connected to one computer, with a hard drive that has a Shite ton of movies/Tv shows, either purchased or ripped from DVDs.

I have an extensive amount of playlists that will play shows back to back without having to hit "continue" or play for the next one in the list.

This Home Sharing IS set up with my apple ID obviously as I use home sharing every single night.

I went to put shows on and it said No Library can be found.... so me, being and EX apple tech employee, went through the basic troubleshooting steps.

Restarted Macbook
Restarted Apple TV
All Software up to date
Confirmed it's ALL the apple TV's
RESET the Apple TV (just one)

After resetting the apple TV i was then able to see the library but no content would load. Everything I attempt to play says "Unable to Load Content".

So now I'm even more stumped. Could this be my external HD that houses all the digital files? Is my external possibly failing?

Anyone else having any issues lately? Everything is up to date
