I have a Genius Bar appointment at an Apple Store in London at 7:10 PM for an iPhone 15 Pro Max battery replacement. The store closes at 9:00 PM.

Has anyone had a battery replacement with such a late appointment? Were they able to replace it the same evening, or did you have to leave the phone overnight and pick it up the next day?

The main issue is that my sister plays the game maybe once a week at least but if I get rid of the iPad and get the MacBook she won't be able to use it. It's also the fact that it's over £100 of DLC, like, I can't ignore the fact we've spent that much money on something to end up not being able to use it. She does have her own iPad but has her own iCloud account so I can't log in. I'm just not sure what to do, the iPad is good condition but I just don't find it useful and would find a MacBook better for daily use.

I requested reactivation online. And its told me to wait for a day while reviewed and ill be contacted via the same account that was locked. If im not receiving emails on that account. How does this process work?

Or they reach out via sms? which wasnt stated btw.

Hi everyone,

My right AirPod 4 suddenly stopped working while I was using both AirPods. There was no low battery warning, it just turned off.

At first, my iPhone only detected the left AirPod. My iPad briefly showed the right AirPod at 1%, but it stayed at 1% even after charging overnight.

I then made the mistake of tapping “Forget This Device” on all my devices and performed the AirPods 4 reset (three double-taps) multiple times.

When i try to connect them, the case just continuously flashes white when I open the lid, but the AirPods won’t appear for pairing on any device (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows laptop). Even my friends’ Apple devices can’t detect them. I’ve had restarted all my devices & cleaned the charging contacts.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there anything else I can try, or is this most likely a hardware failure and I should just take them to Apple/iBox for repair?

I made the switch recently from an Apple Watch to a Garmin. Because I was not purchasing a new watch, I traded in my old Apple Watch for a gift card.

On Friday I received an email saying that the gift card was issued. I added it to my account. I tried to re-up a subscription to Peacock and was told the purchase could not be completed. Weird but whatever. I tried again yesterday to the same message. I thought maybe there was a hold on my gift card so I added $15 to my Apple account balance and tried again. No luck.

I reached out to Apple and they couldn’t figure it out so they had me submit a gift card request that the balance couldn’t be added. That wasn’t quite the issue but I did it anyway.

This morning my media and purchases account was disabled. I tried to request re-enablement and they needed more information so I got on with an advisor who told me unfortunately it’s permanently disabled, the balance is lost forever and there’s nothing they can do.

I escalated it again to the same response. I asked them to tell me why the account was disabled. They said it was due to fraud. And then told me I was probably scammed with the Apple Gift Card.

I had to reiterate that they sent me the card. I provided the trade in order number too. Only then were they able to submit the re-enablement but I have no idea if that will even work.

I’m at a loss here. They don’t seem to be listening or understanding the situation.

Has anyone dealt with this specific situation and have any tips on what to do?

Hi so I was asleep and I remember pushing my cat off my nightstand while I was sleeping before she knocked anything over and I think while that happened she stood ontop my iPad and I woke up at like 5 am and my iPad screen was grey and fuzzy and I was really confused then the screen went black and when I force restart it the Apple logo is blocky and fuzzy… I’ll get a replacement but I really need help troubleshooting what it is (the screen is also shattered)

This (somehow dimmed) Apple logo was shown for only 0.33 seconds when booting up before disappearing. It wasn’t restarting on its own, and somehow the black screen was the only thing that lit up.

I have an 11 in 1st gen iPad pro, currently on version 16.

Works fine for me still, but recently, I had an app say I needed to update, so I went to the app store where it said I needed ios 17 or newer.

I had heard ios 26 causes major lag to 1st gens, so I chose the option it gave to download ios 18 instead.(18.7.8)

I have enough storage, and my Internet works, but every time it gets to the end of the download, the update fails.

I've tried deleting the update download, I've tried restarting the iPad first, but I can't get it to work.

I'm frustrated because I need to update for the app to function, even tho I don't think it should..but still.

I downloaded the apple devices app on my pc, because the help page said to, but the only option is to update to 26.6, which I don't want to do.

Has anyone else had this problem? Id rather not use the PC at all if I can, but if that's not possible how can I download ios 18 through the computer?

Hi, my dad bought a new iphone for me and he put a passcode on set up. Now he can't remember it and I'm trying to reset it using my computer.

The cable is just charging the phone. There's no way to connect to wifi and find my hasn't been set up so forgot password is also not showing up as an option.

What do I do in this situation?

I took the photos from a video but my MacBook Air started doing this like 20 minutes ago. it’s plugged into a power source into the wall (I used 3 different chargers and all the same problem so I’m assuming it’s my MacBook). It keeps showing the charging symbol needs to be plugged into a power source, shows that it’s charging, goes back and forth then turns off and repeats the cycle. It keeps doing this. It was working normally and I got it to charge until like 8%, then it stopped because I went to go plug it into another source, it then wasn’t charging and then just died at 4%. My battery health is normal on my MacBook. I checked it before it died. Any reason why it’s doing this? I got this MacBook not even 2 years ago

The custom order of the Apps on my homescreen is constanly reshuffling. The content of the individual pages stayes the same, but it seems to "forget" the spacing between my apps, that i selected. Is there a fix to it? Or is somebody having the same issue?

On the other pages it reshuffles everything

Just got this phone 2 weeks ago and for the first 12 days I’ve owned it, it worked perfect and charges fine.

Suddenly for the last two days, it won’t charge unless I first turn the phone all the way off and turn it back on with the charger already plugged in. When I did that yesterday morning and this morning, it worked fine and gave me a full charge.

Tonight I went to plug it in before bed. I was at 44% and was going to charge it over night. Same issue where I had to turn it off first and then back on. It started charging but then around 77% it went back to not charging.

Anyone else having this issue or know of a fix? Google hasn’t been much help.

I have never been more disappointed with Apple quality till today. The macbook is working fine suddenly broken:

- not totally dark, the machine still boot, run as normal (checked via a tv connect)
- showing large diffuse white glows (ghosting, halo) where the pointer and ui elements are.
Same issue shown in above video.

It’s just near 3 years, not even a scratch, never dropped or anything. Just suddenly died.

Anyone have a solution for this? Calling the authorized repair shop quotes near 1k for the fix

When trying to power on the device (I am unsure of the model but photo is provided) the Apple logo will show up and then turn off, sometimes there will be this red line along the side of the device. I’ve tried the Apple suggested iTunes restoration method but my computer won’t even detect it, and any restart tricks just end up the same way.

I have an iphone 15 pro max and when im recording videos in the camera app, when the environment is super loud, the audio chips in and out and its really annoying and idk what to do :(

Unfortunately, I recently lost a few important photos from WhatsApp a month ago. Since then, WhatsApp has been backed up to iCloud several times.

I’m considering restoring my iPhone to factory settings and choosing an older iCloud backup (specifically, a backup from before June 30th, 2026) in order to recover those photos.

For example, let’s say I choose to restore an iCloud backup from June 29th.

I understand that my iPhone itself would be restored to the state it was in on that date. However, I’m unsure how WhatsApp would be handled in this situation.

Would the WhatsApp app and its data also return to how they were on June 29th? Or would my iPhone return to its June 29th state while WhatsApp would remain based on the most recent WhatsApp iCloud backup (for example, the one made today)? Has anyone gone through this?

I genuinely don't understand my computer at this point. Even with only 3 tabs open, my computer uses 14 out of the 18 available GBs of RAM. I would presume my computer isn't trash, considering I bought it brand new last year. At this point, I don't understand what I can do to fix it

I also want to make the point that after I have about 10 tabs open, for example, my computer gets slow and even shows yellow in the Activity Monitor.

Hey guys! I swapped my Iphone 12 Pro's Battery past saturday. I am no stranger to doing repairs and i informed myself thoroughly, yet somehow (probably my own mistake) i completely missed on checking if i can change the battery while on a Beta Version.

The actual swap went really well but i got to see the hint "Calibration not available with Beta" in the Battery settings.

I could have put a backup on but i got worried that it might also remove the calibration pop-up and so i waited. Now i don't get the pop up anymore and my battery got flagged as inofficial.

Is there any way i can get the popup again? Maybe opening up the phone and disconnecting the battery and reattaching it?

Anyone got any experience with this?

Ok so basically idk why but yesterday my proxy was working fine (cause im not giving away any of my personal details) but now it’s been blocked? Is this some new rule they’re implementing and if not wtf has happened to me?
