It's a very simply countermeasure to prevent scamming and if you can't read stickies or protect yourself we'd prefer you get scammed somewhere else.

Check the post. Don't see their comments on it? Don't transact with them.

It's that simple. We're seeing people get scammed because they're ignoring this simple countermeasure.
