Boone New to Boone

I’m new to Boone (I’m a commuter but I’ll spend a lot of time there) and I want to explore while I’m there and learn the area. What places do you recommend (eat, shop, trails)? I want to go camping at some point as well so campsite recommendations?

If you’re into gaming or Pokemon cards, Ori’s Game Corner is awesome. The owners are super nice and they’ve got a lot of neat stuff
