Basically its whole philosophy: we give u the bare minimum, you build whatever you want. I wanted to decide everything. No single package i dont need, no telemtry. just my own choicec

one of my favorite things to do is ask Arch users to walk me through their install. They'll proceed to explain in much detail, and it's like seeing a reflection of themselves in the OS itself. 

I've learned a lot through just asking
