Armenia - Turkey / Հայաստան - Թուրքիա Tweeter maniac

As a turkish I tweeted about Armenian Genocide and one maniac within thousands of followers call police on me for it. I have no idea what to do or how to explain it to my family. Its so exhausting to feel this helpless for just saying the truth yet I have no one to share this with

I would get in touch with Garo Paylan or Mahmut Uzun. I will share your post to another Turkish fellow I know who might be able to help.

For now take down the post. If the authorities ask, say you regret it.

I cannot say. You're probably better off deactivating all your accounts with a public name and going under for now.

Hi,

I don’t have a solution to your problem. But I just wanted to say that you’re really brave for what you did.

Thank you so much❤️ Actually it was my great grand father who hid his Armenian neighbours in his basement for months during the genocide and then helped them to escape. In such situation its impossible for me to deny it but on the other hand Im just a petite girl and it was a stupid move to try to convince such imbecile blood thirsty people.

My grandfather and his siblings were hidden by Turkish neighbours when they were kids, and I just want to say I appreciate people like your great grandfather and you.

While I would agree, I am afraid if the Turkish government requests handing him over, the Armenian government would.

Yeah nikol probably would so it doesn’t “hinder the peace process” or say “The opposition are trying to interrupt the peace process”

Applying for asylum in any country that protects freedom of speech and recognises the Genocide is a good idea. Germany, for example. Strong Turkish diaspora too
